Sooo, they created Calcharo, he was great but someone said hey its overhyped nerf him for the launch, then they found that they overnerf him causing that the negative sides are much bigger than positive for that character. Instead of trying to fix their fault they rather create a new character, give it for free so that everyone can just put Calcharo to rest and never use him again. R.I.P

@@Saberdud his damage needs a buff tbh he has a high skill, knowledge and luck requirement but the reward for playing him well is so low. Imagine sweating that hard only to have the same output as a Jiyan or worst less damage than a easy to play Jinshi. I hope kuro looks at calcharo again he has a cool moveset it seems like a waste to just let it be like that.

Want to see calculation of his damage with different weapons, which exact difference between his signa, BP and standard 5* weapon. I don't think I might afford his signa without regrets later on, imo it is too huge investment for f2p/low spenders. Only possibility - If I truly fall in love with his gameplay.

I will be honest, i freaking hate calcharo's playstyle and regret wasting my guaranteed 5 star selector on Calcharo. If i went with Encore i couldve completed TOA 30/30 but im stuck at 29/30. I was going to skip Zhezhi and pulled for xiangli yao just so that i can bench this freaking calcharo if he wasn't given out for free

MATERIALS NOT ECHOES You guys need to read properly Also I prefer Lingering Tunes on XY it's basically the same thing with the 43311 with crit dmg atk atk atk build but you go crit dmg dmg atk atk to balance it out :v Summon Echoes > Transform Echoes Idk about the 4 cost effect both Memphis sucks. Also Theoretically my build would be 90/245 with 2200+ ATK when I fully max him out already have it on Calcharo with Jinshi's weapon as placeholders :P

Can someone explain why is 52% dmg bonus worse than 42% atk ?

Pretty sure it depends on context. For simplicity, WuWa damage can be calculated like this (this isn't the full version) Base ATK * ATK% * DMG Bonuses If your character already has high ATK%, then DMG bonuses are better. If your character already has high DMG bonuses, then ATK% are better For example ATK 100 ATK% 80% DMG Bonus 20% 100 * 1.8 * 1.2 = 216 ATK 100 ATK% 50% DMG Bonuses 50% 100 x 1.5 x 1.5 = 225 As you can see, if you add too much ATK%, your final damage is lower even though total ATK% and DMG Bonuses both of them are 100% (80% ATK% + 20% DMG Bonuses and the other 50% ATK% +50% DMG Bonuses) You want to balance both stats. So, that's why sometimes 42% ATK is better than 52% DMG bonuses due to diminishing value. Also, some DMG Bonuses in WuWa exist only for certain types of attacks (Basic, Heavy, Liberation, Skill) which means they only buff one type of Damage meanwhile ATK% buff all of them

Because equal percentage of DMG bonus and atk% is better then having too much of one stat. Example: 30%dmg bonus + 30% atk will hit larger numbers than 40%dmg bonus+ 20%atk.

​​@@Nomu23zOh, that's because Xiangli Yao Weapon Signature gives Liberation DMG Bonuses by 48% + 12% Attribute DMG Bonus which means it's already 60% DMG bonuses. Since Xiangli Yao majority damages is calculated as Resonance Liberation Damage, that means majority of his damage will always have 60% DMG Bonuses but 0% ATK As I said before, you want balance. Void Thunder set gives you another DMG Bonuses (40%) which makes the gap between ATK and DMG bonuses further. 0%ATK vs 100% DMG Bonuses isn't balanced. That's why Lingering Tunes is better since it provides ATK% by 30% Edit : This calculation is based only his Weapon and Echo Set effect, doesn't include echo main stats and substats. This is based on leak calculation, DPS difference between Lingering Tunes and Void Thunder when Xiangli Yao using Signature Weapon is around 10% If you're using the 5* standard gauntlet, then it's only 2%. So it doesn't really matter if you don't pull for his WS.

According to your formula: when using void thunder, I have 60% (from sig) + 52% (from void thunder) 20% (from passive) dmg bonus (total 132% dmg bonus) and I have 60% atk (2 cost 3) + 36% atk (2 cost 1) + 12% atk(skill) (total 108% atk) and 132% x 108% = 1.4256. If you use lingerings, you have 60% dmg bonus(sig) + 60% dmg bonus (2 cost 3) + 20%(passive) (total 140% dmg bonus) and 42% atk (lingerings) 36% atk (cost 1 ) + 12%(skill) (total 90% atk) and 140% x 90% = 1.26 < 1.4256 (when using void thunder and 2 cost atk) and if you think using 1 cost 3 dmg bonus 1 cost atk instead 2 cost dmg bonus for lingerings case will produce 110% x 120% = 1.32 < 1.4256. How do you explain this?

You're mistaken. Elements in WuWa work the opposite. Mech Abomination is Electro which means it takes reduced damage from Electro character
