Yet, He feels bad for you, being all alone out and away from Liyue. He didn't even tell you his name, or know yours. He had to see you again, find you, and bring you in to live with him, to keep you safe from any demons from finding you. You appreciate his concern and hospitality, but you kindly decline, to keep him safe. He would not take 'no' for an answer, and takes you away bridal style. It was about to snow, but luckily he brought a warm blanket for you, and made it to the inn.

Both male and female nagas exist in mythology. Naga can be used as a neutral term or for a male one, a female one uses the terms nagi or nagini. Since the video is M4A (male character for any listener) the gender depends on what you prefer to hear.
