Xiao Yao loves all of the male leads, Caung Xuan, Jing, and Xiang Liu differently. But in my view, her love for Xiang Liu was the most genuine one becuz even though she pushed her away from her mind and Xiang Liu deliberately pushed her away again and again not to fall for him, she still loves and cares for him and secretly hopes him not to leave her and stay with her. Remember the scene when she said it would be so great that the one who saved him back then was her so that he would be free with no debt or gratitude to pay back. This shows that she wants him to be free and able to stay beside her.

agree 😢😢 They love each others …. beautifully. He built her a better future. Better than cang xuan or jing did. they all focus on what they think would be a better future for her. But Xiang liu capture her needs better than any of those man. He went along with her words … And he provide… He maybe poorer than any of those man, even from her. But dang he provides….

Her love for every ML is different..As for Xiangliu , she loves him genuinely and wants to be with him.and as for Jing , she likes him but it's not really love..as for cang xuan , she love him as a brother and as for other male lead she just sees him as a friend

It is true that she loves all of the male leads but i think she loves xiang lu more than others. It is very evident that she is running after him even after he pushes away many times. Because even after Tushan jing expressed and showered her with compassion ( that she didn't deserve) she still got mad at him for not sending gifts. I know she will end up with Tushan jing and xiang liu will get killed from the novel. Oh and from the title we can understand that it's a story of lost love.😊❤

It's a lost long love. XY and XL are fated people but they are also fated to part. The conflict of once promised basically continued in LYF and it was XL who became the "solution" and put an end to that 'generational' conflict by dying a long with Chengrong Army. And help XY break free as she wanted to be free. It was always XL who understand her better than the others and more. Her mom was not able to break free and suffered much for love. But Xiang Liu planned everything so she will be able to live freely. XL death is a sacrifice needed. XL is the kindest Soul whose actions were no saint, but the most understanding one. I can only imagine how many he has killed, people died before his eyes and bodies he lost count in burying. If they will be reincarnated or have their own next life, I'm sure XL and XY will meet again.

@@Rosewinter_Icy Yes, XY and XL are always separated by circumstances since they are standing on opposing ends. XL as a character is gray character but standing between Yin-Yang. This is the only drama that I wished do not follow the novel haha, because I read XY parent's story and it was heartbreaking but XL and XY story is the worst of all haha. It's a lost, long love. I hope they will be able to choose each other in their next lives.

Since this book is a double-edged story where people fell in love but on opposing sides (her parent's story) you know XL had it worse. He fixed everything and he loved XY so deeply that he thought of her future and ensured she would live.

Sorry, but Xiao Yao is clearly the most in love with Xiang Liu. Nothing against the guy she's going to end up with, they go very well together (rarely do I have to say that when a character like Xiang Liu exists) and obviously she loves him romantically too. But how can we deny the evidence of Xiao Yao and Xiang Liu ?! It’s undeniably a great romance ! But a tragedy that cannot have a happy outcome. It's truly heartbreaking. The characters love each other, they know it, but they know their relationship is impossible. I can't stand this kind of scenario for my fragile little heart !

took me like one month to reply, sorry for that, life kicking my ass. i use capcut to cut everything up and add transitions, and then i color, add text, and render in sony vegas 14, i'd do everything in sony vegas, but my poor old laptop would not survive it.
