So happy just to see Xiaomi with the big brands which we respect so much and still delivering or holding up. For those who don't know, we enjoy great tech at affordable prices. Honestly i haven't missed any of my old brands since i started my Xiaomi journey in 2014 with the Redmi Note 4 32GB. I must upgrade to the 13 Pro as I'm using my old 2020 Redmi Note 9 64gb.

Xiaomi impressive, but there is another thing, Xiaomi passed whole benchmark loop test, 89% stability, so iPhone in performance side is more again left in dust lol, temps are high but also not much higher than iPhone in the same time keeping better sustained performance, anyway great camera performance I'm curious what they will do with ultra model

I have Xiaomi 13T Pro and I love this comparison video so that I have ideas on to how much it can perform versus top brands when it comes to camera. I am happy that the quality I am seeing everytime I shoot is top notch and can rival with iPhone and Pixel. Although I hate that they added beautification on the front facing camera by default coz I hate beautification. I rarely take a selfie even with my Realme XT that has better camera than this Xiaomi 13t pro but I still want my camera to be realistic and never hide my facial imperfecttions. So hopefully they remove the default beautification in their next updates.

@@AndyLowe-net when I said default, it is already there even if it's turned off. When I first opened the front cam I thought the filter was on but I was shocked to see it's in "Original" mode. That means every alteration to my face should be disabled but in this one, there's clearly smoothening going on by default. I don't know but it wasn't solved on my device. I've been waiting for an update but nah.

Nice thought on the AI. In the comparison, I think that, except the 5x zoom or more, the Xiaomi does a pretty well job and we're talking about a phone that costs 1k less than the Iphone 15. I would deffo go with the Xiaomi. Regards.

Most of my viewers watch on their phones. So I made this one 2K with a 2:1 ratio for smartphones…xperia 1 seems to be the only phone with 4K at the moment

@@WhatGear 2K is not so low, but in general, pixel peeping comparison videos could use all the resolution you can throw at them. People meticulously analysing each frame in bigger screens might be the minority, but they exist and they need love too!

To be fair, I am quite surprised by how it turned out but I also kinda expected xiaomi to ace this too cuz my mom uses a xiaomi and I prefer the way photos looked on her phone compared to my iPhone 15 pro max. Their color science is so good and it’s the only skin smoothening that I accept cuz they look good and doesn’t make you look not human.

I have used Poco/Xiaomi/Pixel phones privately sine the Pocophone F1 and Samsung as a work phone. Way back, my Pocophone F1 had horrible camera performance, but great Gcam. The camera app was basically a barebones version of the Pixel camera app. Every update made it better and more like the pixel app. The Xiaomi app is obviously based on the Pixel app. I find my Pixel 6a a bit boring but reliable as a camera. Having a Leica interpretation of the Pixel camera app seems like a good idea...

If you want brighter images at night photography on Xiaomi you should use leica vibrant color when shooting, I have 13T and I experienced that this is really makes change in Brightness.

Personally I like the detail of pixel, with most of the time, Xiaomi's colour. Apple's photos aren't bad, but it has this very unpleasant oversharpening halos that's very obvious. Apple's the most stable with videos though.

I did a comparison yesterday evening betwin my 13t pro and the i phone 15 of a friend in low light situation and in all situations we were enjoying more the photos of the 13t pro for fue reasons : the white ballance was not good on the i phone, too yellow. And the photo were over exposed even if thanks to that the iphone had a bit more details in dark shadows.

Pixel 8 Pro for me such brilliant image quality, details, colours etc. I shoot with mine at 50mp full resolution and it doesn't even impact dynamic range. Apple and Xiaomi too warm or yellowish to me. In daylight or sunlight Pixel best even at 10x zoom

Yep, most of the difference is in the processor. The Xiaomi 13t Ultra, on the other hand, has a far better camera but is also A LOT more expensive. Still cheaper than an Iphone 15, though lol.

Xiaomi has the best color profile thanks to Leica and it's AI. But pixel and iphone has way better details, so u have more control on editing.

Im gonna be honest. I actually dont pay much attention to color when it comes to a picture. What really, really bugs my mind is when the photo is not focused, because you can change the look and color of a photo, but you can never make it crispy in post. You just can't. Also, I have a sony a7000, and that old thing destroys any smartphone. Still, I was impressed with the xiaomi. Seems like I'm going to make a great deal 👍
