Hi! Just bought my Xiaomi 13T Pro yesterday, after owning a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro for 3+ years. Haven't tested all the features yet, but the first thing that stood out to me as a visual snob and that still bothers me is that whenever I check my Instagram feed, most photos containing people look like an AI decided to "beautify'' their skin by default. I'm looking at the same photos on both phones and the skin just looks "textureless", shiny, mushy, fuzzy on 13T Pro compared to the realistic look on the old Redmi Note 9 Pro, although product & landscape photography looks stunning, as well as any digital and AI-generate art (anything else, but human beings and some parts of animal fur in real-life photos posted by other people). Has anyone else encountered this problem and has a solution?

The base model 13T only costs $360 where I stay and 13T Pro around $500. It's meant to be a super value buy at these prices and performance. The base model actually outperforms the pro due to heating issues with the same camera, no $360 phone out there can compete.
@clockdva205 ай бұрын
Xiaomi really need to get a grip with how many models they bring to the market. Flooding the mid range and flagship phones, has to be a drain on costs .do we really need an half year update ? Also this is company that sells several other brands under different names . This makes it very confusing for the buyer trawling through Xiaomi's very blouted range of phones products. My main spec for a new device is the Camera now . With enough power features to make it a strong every day media device as well as a good phone. But with the likes of Oppo . Oneplus . Also sharing the same sales market all are feature packed and for the most part at a better price than the big two players Samsung and Apple .though these days the price gap as narrowed with the 13 and 14 ultras been in a simular price range to both the top end S24 Ultra and I-Phone 15,s top model. There plus and minuses here the market is still awash with lots of the 13 series phones at least here in Germany both old stock or outlet stock or used. and prices vary a lot across both in retail stores and online. For me Xiaomi could make life much simpler if they reduced their model range. For myself I am currently trying to replace my now very old Samsung S9+ at first I wanted to get a full camera but price and set up cost just blew that idea out of the water compared to the costs of a mid to hi end Smart phone and just having everything in one place. My Wife just got herself an standard S24. She wants to stick with the same brand. But Once I started researching myself I found that you can get some much better phones than the base S24. More so looking at 2023.models so that started me on this confusing spec paper trail with Xiaomi's phones this is still on-going as of writing.😅😅 thanks for a good insite.

That's what I say I hate the most from Xiaomi: That push on more and more phones in the same year. The naming is confusing. Not long ago, I bought my mom a Note 12 and after that, Xiaomi launched like 5 variants of the same phone that did different things. The fun part? I thought the Redmi Note 9S was like the most powerful phone from the 9 series, but when I tried the same with the 12S turns out it wasn't as good as that one was. All because the naming makes things harder than it should be. Now, we're on 13 (and almost at 14), and they still do it. Sure, that's why they're selling like hotcakes, but that eventually will make people switch until they have a clear way to identify their devices.

Xiaomi always use the Mi T series as their affordable flagship alternative, kinda like what OnePlus are doing with the Nord line. 12T Pro also had a snapdragon. But I get the "affordable flagship" idea. Just, it's not THAT far from the price of a Xiaomi 13 Pro on sale.
