Edit to update. In fact, in the UK the Xiaomi 14 comes with 512GB storage and costs £899. iPhone 15 Pro 512GB costs £1299. £400 more, so a considerable difference. And if you buy the Chinese version of the 14 you can get 512GB model for $750. Old comment: I got my price information from a source that turned out to be unreliable. Still, if the top flagship is 1500 then 1000 is almost "midrange" by comparison. But not half the price of an iPhone 15 Pro. My guess is the price will drop faster than the iPhone though

This is a fantastic device in a smaller form factor but I don’t think we can call this a midranger phone. It’s simply a less, flashy flagship compared to the Ultra but it has everything you can find in a flagship with no holding back on camera either.

​@@egonsiyou You can buy the Chinese ROM for 650 USD. It includes play store and all Google app services, and is available in English. You can later change the ROM but it is not needed. I think that 1 thousand USD is a fair price compared to the competition. It provides far better performance than the iPhone 15 or S24. It has amazing color science. That is expected since it has collaborated with Leica. Its performance is amazing. Its display is absolutely STUNNING. I don't find any flaw in it. Perhaps the software is not the best, but its optimization has been greatly improved with the HyperOS update.

i bought the xiaomi 14 pro 1tb 16gb version for 700 euro in china back in november. It comes with a 120w charger, bluetooth earbuds and a pretty note book with a pen. Case and spcreen protector applied on the phone was also a great out of the box experience. English language and google services working on this chinese version so i am very happy what i got for the price. My wife is a samsung fan and since i have the xiaomi kinda bothering me she want me to take all her photos not with her s22 ultra but with my phone because it outperforme the s22 utlra like day and night specially in video mode at low light conditions but also the photos a lot better in low light. I was a sony fan but nowdays sony was letting me down what i got for the price and they also fall into the same mistake as apple and samsung (there is no charger included and no fast charging). Since i tried the 120w charging iam amazed and i could never go back to the slower charing phones. Overally i think if they continue these traditions for their next phones my next device going to be xiaomi as well.

In 4K60 m, please elaborate on zoom possibilities DURING video recording. I belive u can start from 1x (not .6x !!) & go up to 6x. Does switchover from main lens happen seamlessly at 3.2x or is it just lossy crop from main sensor? Is the behaviour same in 4K30 mode?

Hello ! I'm thinking about buying the Xiaomi 14 but I also got a Dji Mobile 6 and I was wondering what were the limitation from the stabilizer? I can't find any info on their site. It seems the 13 Ultra / 13 Pro were limited to 30 fps in 1080 and 4K...and that a bit of a shame ^^' Thanks in advance if you have the answer!

A bit disappointed about the Log recording limitations. I can just load up MotionCam Pro and get equivalent/Superior capabilities on an older phone, as well as Log on all lenses. I wonder why did they limit it?? It's totally capable of doing 10-bit log on all lenses, and even the LUTs can't be baked in unlike MotionCam. Does it at least offer bitrate controls? I saw it was about 37mbps there, but again, MotionCam can rip it at least x4 that. Did they at least ease up on sharpening and denoise? Or is it just the gamma curve it helps with? It's a shame they didn't go all in on this

It seems there's a misunderstanding regarding the definition of a mid-range device, particularly in the case of the Xiaomi 14. This device boasts the latest SD8 Gen3 processor, a triple 50MP camera setup featuring cutting-edge technology, IP68 certification for durability, fast wired and wireless charging capabilities including reverse wireless charging, an LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the list of features continues. Just because it has a 6.36" display doesn't automatically qualify it as mid-range in my opinion. I believe it should be classified as a compact flagship device. A good example of mid-range phone is the Nothing Phone 2.

I've had the phone since yesterday. This confirms the problem reported by almost all users. Camera lens fogs up. When recording, e.g. in 4K or 8K, the phone heats up, and steam gets into the lens due to active cooling. The lens also fogs up when moving from a room with a lower temperature to a room with a higher one. I am curious how Xiaomi will respond to this huge problem that will affect every user, I am waiting for action. Lens to legendary Fogging..

Dear android reviewer's: when uploading a video do not upload them via social media in android as tbey reduce the quality as much as they can. Use bluetooth (if available in iphones) or via data cable ( andriod > pc > iphone ) to share to the iphone and upload it from an iphone. Then will see the real quality, if you can make the video in the iphone itself buy sending the sample photos and video to iphone....
