Oh I dunno, I watched your vid when I was seeing the coverage for the 13U and riggght that one's camera *IS* much better not just because of the sensor size but you're right with the software tuning too. In my eyes they look more vibrant than this 14 series ones.

From my calculation, the Xiaomi 14 Pro's main sensor at f/1.42 is very similar to IMX989 at f/1.9. Both are around f/5 FF equivalent. You are not missing anything at all in terms of optic and bokeh.

I have a fix for large camera bumps, I have been using a folding wallet that adds thickness to the backs of phones, good to rest your gaming hand there, and doubles as a stand. Design wise it is a direct replica of moft magsafe wallet but mine is the adhesive kind, which I stuck on a cheap clear case.

I hope we get the same screen curve on the 14 Ultra as on the Pro. And I agree I really dislike the downgrade to the new main sensor even if it's matching the LYTIA 800 in sensor technology. But I'm pretty sure they are not on par. I'd prefer Sony in all my camera.

After the launch of Xiaomi 14 pro.. i straight away bought the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Waited to see whats the difference & if there is improvement in camera. Needless to say no regrets with the 13 ultra.

Great review from lim❤ xiaomi flagship gotten heavier because of the big camera. I mean its a good thing because you can take beautiful photo but the downside is your device will become heavier. I mean if xiaomi really want to overtake the camera king then they should improve more on camera software. HyperOS is good but this also means xiaomi slowly try to follow what huawei did there. From what I know next year huawei harmonyOS will drop android that's mean harmonyOS will become same as ios where they aren't android. I guess in a few years more Chinese smartphone companies will follow what huawei did and its not a bad thing because they still can use Google(not like huawei) but they can't install apks anymore

So happy with the regular 14, compact phone, leica vibrant just hits the spot, loving it, battery life last 9 to 10 hours easily without gaming, hyperOs does the magic trick for this little guy 4610mah, with 90w turbo charge enabled fully charged less than 30 minutes, from 15% - 20%. Gaming wise, roughly for 50 minutes eats around 10% battery, which is quite good imo, plus the camera bumb helps my fingers resting there, lol. Worth every ringgit spent on this Lil guy, Rm3k, I'm impressed what Xiaomi promised with new hyperOs.

At this point I'd have to say the vivo X100 Pro. Better zoom quality, better main sensor, better video camera too. However if you're referring to selfies, the Xiaomi edges by having 4K60.
