✔️Does the Xiaomi Fimi x8 come with obstacle avoidance?
No, the glass in front of the drone is just for looks, but there might be a future version where that could be the case.
The fimi x8 does come with one optical flow camera underneath and a sonar sensor.
Both help with flying more stable and detecting the ground when it comes to landing.
✔️What is the Maximum Height for the Xiaomi FImi X8?
It can fly as high as 500m, limited by the app and as far as 5km in perfect conditions. Once it reaches this maximum distance the drone stops from moving.
✔️What speed can it fly at?
The Fimi x8 can fly over 65km/h in GPS mode while the maximum ascending speed is 18 km/h
✔️Where to buy the Fimi x8 and what are the cheapest prices?
I got mine from banggood and this is not a payed review, I actually like to buy most of my drones from there.
It's a chinese website with some of the cheapest prices. The shipment arrived in Europe in about 1 week.
If you want a faster shipping, amazon is always an option.
✔️Transmitter - is it any good?
The controller of the Fimi x8 is quite different from it's younger brother, the FImi a3, as it doesn't come with an included screen, but you need to connect your phone or tablet to it.
It can take even some small tablets without any adapter whatsoever and comes with a very easy to use button interface.
The sticks are hobby grade and definitely an amazing quality overall.
✔️App and flight modes
The app is quite similar in design to what DJI has for their models, I like it quite a lot and seems there haven't been any issues so far.
Orbit mode - a bit complicated to use, as it takes time to corectly setup the drone position, but works perfectly.
Dronie mode
Waypoints
Follow me mode - Works great, as long as you don't go under the drone and make sure there are no obstacles.
Return Home - The precision is under 1 meter in my experience.

Imi place ca ne tii la curent si cu stadiu lucrarilor de la urban plazza :)). Cat despre drona, chiar interesanta la pretul asta. Cred ar fi mai corecta o comparatie cu mavic air.

Did I see it in Black! It seems to be a good Quodcopers and neat connector! I believe this is one of the few that can be used without buying hole new phone, If info was right as long as connection is made by wire to Smart devices it should work?? But really this is way beyond what price is needed, but I can pay for new phone and get 200$ 5G Drone or but I hope more in to the drone,hopefully the higher price will get much better, longer lasting, something that will not need updates, simple Much better than the 1000s of 5G wifi flyer be mas produced and will not hold its Value???

Yes, you don't need to buy a 5g phone, it's going to be connected by the cable to the transmitter, so any smartphone will work.
