Xiaomi M365 Electric Scooter Pro 2 - Folding Handle Bar Modification

One thing I wish the company of Xiaomi to consider when they release their new scooter is the foldability of the handle bar but unfortunately only a few details were improved. This video I will show everyone how I made it a reality. Enjoy.

This is one of the most beautiful Xiaomi that I have seen modified. It has all the essential things you need to improve it on the road and visibility. However, the modification to the handlebar must be improved with a single piece. You cannot have a two-piece guide held by just two screws. I would have put the single handlebar and not divided into two pieces. So the handlebar that holds the brake knobs and slips through the loop I would have done with a single bar, all in one piece. Traduzione: Questo è uno dei più belli Xiaomi che ho visto modificato. Ha tutte le cose essenziali che servono per migliorarlo su strada e visibilità. La modifica però al manubrio va migliorata con un unico pezzo. Non si può avere una guida divisa in due pezzi mantenuta da solo due viti. Avrei messo il manubrio unico e non diviso in due pezzi. Quindi il manubrio che mantiene le manopole dei freni e che si infila per il passante lo avrei fatto con una barra unica, tutta di in pezzo.

Nice , but I personally think you cut too much, will be better a version with the new bar perfectly adapted, I just think you get so much near to it ! A hole in the center of the new bar was way more nice that the bar cutted in half . It still a nice project! Well done !

I buy it that one for my scooter the Yume X11+ but the one that i buy it is 660mm but add a extender but the extender i glue with the bar but isn't on the scooter i have to put it and is better like that because like that you can close the handlebar...

Nice job! Some questions: 1 - If you remove the screws of the handle folding mech, the part would accept the extension brakets (just for not cutting it)? 2 - are any noticeble handle bar hight issues? You lowered it by 10 cm.

1. I have no choice but to cut it so i can use the folding handle bar. Even if you dismantle everything on the handle bar you still cannot install it without cutting it. The clamp has no hinges to open it up wide enough so you can insert the folding mechanism. 2. No height issues for me as i am only 5'6". I couldn't say for those taller than me. I have another version but i don't have the time anymore to do it since i was called back to work

Why not just also cut the protruding tip in the throttle same as you did for the brake? Instead of cutting into the handlebar so much.
