hey did you have to change the filter already? i recon that it doesnt measure the filter lifespan but only has a set timer that goes off after a certain runtine.

I have the 2H . As I notice from the match test , like mine 2h , the auto isn't so good , and it needs the pm2.5 to go up to 50-60 to start working faster. I want the PM as low as possible in my home , so I solve it with always running on manual mode 20-25% of it's speed . An make an automation on mi home app , so when the pm2.5 goes very high, more than 70 , then to turns on auto , so it adjusts speed to lower them . And then again on my manual - favorite mode . The purifier is perfect and I love it

I own the 2S model and I have a deviated septum. Prior to owning the air purifier I would wake up every morning and my right nasal passage would be blocked completely. It was so bad I was considering surgery. The air purifier has resolved this problem completely. My bedroom has carpet so that didn't hep but I love the little Xiaomi and am now considering the Pro model for my downstairs living room. I only use the 2S 8 hours per day in the evening and just had to replace my filter after 13 months. I do have good air quality where I live though and reading rarely goes above '1'. I have the machine set to run on Auto and it runs completely silent at night.

@@crabbynebula Sorry to hear that...perhaps allergies still causing you discomfort or do you need additional surgery? Have you tried those natural nasal moisturizing sprays with sea salts etc?...They work great at keeping the nasal passages from getting too dry and blocking up.

I think the other difference between 3H and the pro is that the 3H only has a HEPA filter. The Pro has an EPA filter that is weaker than the first, but it also has the activated carbon I need along with HEPA. An activated carbon is the only reason why I haven't bought 3H model yet. Do you have any informations about this extra filter?

Grade 13 HEPA Filter (Grey) which comes with 3H does have activated carbon filter on it's outer layer.

Excellent video. I just received my 3H. Setting up in apartment that is crowded with furnishings. Wondering if setting it on the top of the refrigerator would work as well as setting on the floor? Top of Refrig has 1 1/3 meter clearance to the ceiling and is central in the the apartment.

Hi i would love to know what the purifier really consumes in reality. I suspect having it on auto will consume something like 5 Watts whil idling and ramping up to 37 Watt only when needing to. I would guess a consupmtion of 160 Wh per day in your conditions. Which would be significantly less than the 900 Wh you have calculated.

If it were to use 900Wh/day in my case would be wayyy too much. My year consumption is about 790 kWh having that consumption on top would add almost half of my total consumption on top of it 😱

@@kasziel i have had the purifier now for almost 2 months and can tell you the average consumptions is mor like 5w. When cooking (and burning food) it can ram up to the full power of 37 but it only does that for like 1 or 2 hours in a week.

I basically have two queries, 1. I have dust allergies and it gets hard for me ( itchy throat and runny nose etc) when my room get damp during rainy seasons. 2. I have a small room with just one window and door and during night I lock the door and window and sometimes in early morning like 3-4 am it gets a bit suffocating. Will this help me.

I'm no expert but a lot of highly rated filter these days have NO UV light. I think it's basically a gimmick that is not needed esp. when you consider how fast the air moves through the filter with not much dwell time. Also I believe with UV light there is some concern about them producing ozone- which can agitate lungs as well.

Me neither. I'm trying for days to connect to my Air P 3h but without any success. I see the purifier with my app, connect to it and then suddenly it stops at "Operation confirmed" and I cannot click next. I tried reset the purifier, reset my router, reset my iPhone, all recommendations and nothing helped. However weeks ago, when I bought it, hadn't any problem to connect it. It functioned perfectly from the first time. After a few days the connection problems via App started.

nice review mate. Bought mine but it's just on 01 the entire time. Straight out of the box. I cook and it stays at that level. Max it goes to 03. Do I have a faulty sensor? I noticed yours is at 01 too before the match lit.

Thanks mate. Yeh most of the time it’s at 01. If you’re cooking and it stays there I’d say that’s a little stranger mines maybe 5m from the kitchen in an open plan living dining area and it gets up to about 50 on average when cooking and up to 100-200 when frying stuff. You could test it by lighting a match and blowing it out nearby like me. Otherwise yeh I think it may be faulty

I don't know why for some reason, my 2H always has a reading 5-10 times higher than 3H. I placed both units in same room for testing, 2H was at 30 and 3H was at 6. I suspect that my 3H might come with a faulty sensor. Manufacturing Date of my 3H is Apr 2020. What about your?

@@kranc i think it's the same. I don't know if it's faulty or just rubbish tbh. It's just at 01 all the time, yes when you burn a candle it goes up and down, but during cooking and stuff, not much different. Not over impressed by this purifier.
