I'm between this and the 3.8L Cosori. They are the best in design on the market. If you would pick one, which one would you go for?
@1reuseeverything12 жыл бұрын
It's hard to choose between them.. The only thing for Xiaomi is that you can set it to 40°C and dry herbs or fruit.. What bothers me about Cosori is that the display faces up to the ceiling - if I'm sitting in the room, I'll have to get up and look on the fryer, the Xiaomi can be seen from the side display...but both have an APP, so it's hard to say which to choose.

Is there a non-manualy way to turn it on? And also, does it have to be turned on if i want to read the cloud recipes?

Is it easy to clean? How to clean the heating element? I find it very difficult to remove oil stains from my Imarflex Air Fryer.
@1reuseeverything12 жыл бұрын
In Xiaomi, it is not possible to clean the heating element, because it is separated by a sieve. You'd have to take the whole fryer apart to get to it.

Hi! Planning to buy this very soon. Just wanna ask if it makes noise? Thanks!
@1reuseeverything12 жыл бұрын
Yes, it makes less noise, but it's just airflow noise. The only thing that can really bother you is the beeping. It beeps quite loud and shrill.
@anitacampbell78822 жыл бұрын
It’s quiet……it beeps when it needs an action from you and to indicate it’s completed. Very sleek and modern in design. I’ve not it long but enjoying using it. 👍👍👍👍👍

So you can put food on the bottom tray as well? As in you can put chips on the bottom and fish on top?
@1reuseeverything12 жыл бұрын
Yes, exactly ... I even think that one more layer of food could be placed on the bottom, but it would have to be such food that would not burn on the bottom of the baking tray. I can try it and make a video about it. Good idea, thank you.

Super video, kako se pokazao sa ostalom hranom?
@1reuseeverything12 жыл бұрын
Thanks for asking ... I ate all the fries, but to be honest they weren't as tasty as they looked :) ... The mistake was that it's not good to mix classic potatoes with sweet ones (sweet potatoes soften and bake rather than classic ones), but if you bake them in a classic oven, they can also be baked with white / purple potatoes. Also, they were thicker and it made them hard to bake - you need to use a grater that will make you thinner fries. I plan to shoot some tricks to bake and cook in this fryer.

how's your non-stick coating is holding since there's so many metal to metal contacts ... I guess if you want to fry steak it must sit on the grill otherwise it would get cocked inside its own juice and fat if sitting at the bottom .
@1reuseeverything12 жыл бұрын
The non-sticky layer holds up well after almost a year. But I'm careful when I put food on the plate... That fryer has three bottom levels: 1. purely just a tray, 2. then you insert a perforated tray/baking pan - which rises above the bottom by about 0.5 to 1 cm, 3. a grill for baking .. .I think that the steak could be cooked on the 2nd level without soaking up its own juice... You have to try it.

If you don't have such a button, try updating the Xiaomi Home App and if it still doesn't appear, it's possible that the recipes were banned in your country - try using a VPN and reinstalling the app.

Potato cutting with this tool looks painful. I friendly advise to stick to old good knife, unless it is a forearm fitness plan as well 💪😉

To tell the truth, that quasi-potato cutting tool sucks :) ... I recommend using a slicer for smaller fries, if they are wide so they will be undercooked ...
