Im currently using the Mix Fold 3 in the US and cant stop even with its Chinese only limitations. I also have rhe global magic V2 and prefer the Mix Fold 3. Like the design and feel of the device vs the V2. Cant wait for the Mix fold 4 especially if its global

What Chinese limitations?

T-Mobile GA- full 5g no issues with coverage. Chinese limitations are base on your needs. Chinese ROM set up on Xiaomi takes quite a bit of time for notifications/permissions which need to be done individually for apps. No android auto, watch support is limited if available at all.. some say googke pay has issue. I have not experienced that. Works fine for me

I think you confused the mix fold 3 with another phone. You state that the 2x telephoto, main and ultrawide are all 50mp but only the main is 50mp (imx800) on the mix fold 3. The ultrawide is 12mp, the 2x is 10mp and the 5x is 10mp. There will definitely be big enough upgrades on cameras for the mix fold 4

Yes they do. Have been using Xiaomi phones for over 4 years now and security updates are regular. Also, those updates did not cause any negative issues in my phones. Only made things that were already great, noticeably better.

Im not sure you're aware, but Xiaomi was the 3rd biggest foldable seller globally according to a report I read that was pushed by Phonearea and GSM. Now we know that is nonsense. There is no way they outsold Honor and didn't brag about it, but thats the official word from one source.

Now Xiaomi do not put band 20 on their phones in China they are of no interest unless global. The connection on mobile data is nit great still mules behind Vivo. If you ever make a phone call that id not great either. These things seem basic but are very important.

Just asking cause the fold 6, and even pixel fold 2 is looking very lame this year and i like the larger form factor of both vs the ones we get over in the U.S.

I own 14Tpro, you know now one more person :) yet consider to buy fol4 as either secondary ... Or switch as main. And ROM flash sounds awesome... As now I'm locked on china ROM English version... In general it's ok.. yet.. missing android auto and didn't find the way to use my emea Samsung Galaxy watch with this ROM:( I can't upgrade as ROM unlocking is locked and requires china community approval :)

It was a good run... BUT this year Google Pixel Fold2 and Samsung Z Fold6 (If they change the size) are top Fold category priority. The OnePlus Open not working with BMW was a MAJOR let down.

I would signal the bootloader unlock philosophy has changed with the hyperos change unlike the software that barely felt like anything more than the usual Android re-skin, but there's a Chinese trend about naming android based ui's an OS of late... for your info some of the issues with the mix fold 3 were so bad I've been running a custom rom elite rom since I got the device, unlocked but it doesn't look like xiaomi intends to let you unlock phones as easily "or so I've read" since they released hyperos and could affect imported phones greatly. always wait for reviews don't pull the trigger on sexy specs alone, I'm feeling some interest for the new vivo x3 fold pro right now but gotta wait for reviews plus there's f-all accessories for that phone out yet.

I personally think the mix fold 3 is the best all rounder still to date... Also the icon and everything everything is free... I heard originally it was going to be global but now it seems like it won't be but as long as it lighter and thinner I will be jumping for it to be the only thing that I wish he would do is fingerprint sensor like Vivo has on the screen

I will wait for the Mix Fold 5. I currently own the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Great phone and don't feel this is a year that consumers should upgrade, in part that A.I. still needs more advance since it's its first year and tech has not improved much from last year.
