A solution would be to set the speaker volume to let's say 80-90 percent and just adjust the needed output from your tv remote. My speakers have remote but i seldom used it because i do the same thing, control everything from the remote of the tv or from the smartphone

I bought this MI soundbar around two years ago and loved it. I am using this for my mobile only. But three months ago the bluetooth stopped working and then few weeks later the aux in too. Last week the Line in option also stopped working. Now the 'signal indicators' for all these three options are not on at all which means I cannot use any of these three option for use in my mobile. Do I have any other option so that I can use it for my mobile with some other connection? Thanks

I don't use a soundbar. Inbuilt speakers on my VU 50" TV is good enough to watch regular TV. And I'd rather buy a dedicated subwoofer and 5.1 (or even 2.1) system instead of soundbars which only look good.

Does anyone know if the sound bar choose the audio source based on the availability? For example, if Aux-in is plugged in, once turned on, it will switch to Aux-in. On the other hand, if bluetooth connection was set, it will turn on with the source from bluetooth on default.

Why not use a 5.1 speaker setup with dedicated subwoofer? I bought one from Philips few months back for around 5k, and it is phenomenal. It even supports bluetooth and FM, has a remote! And obviously will sound way better than any soundbar! Why not that?

Yes, I use a soundbar, which I purchased recently.. My TV is VU 39" Regular LED TV.. and the soundbar is JBL Bar Studio 2.0.. I like it a lot, given my Hall is small and it fills it with fantastic sound and a little Bass.. If possible please review JBL bar studio 2.0.. because that is the only one which can compete with Mi Soundbar.. It retails for almost 8000 to 9000 Rs.. But i was able to get one for 7000 during Amazon sales in October.. Price is not close what Mi is offering, but we get a lot of additional features for the extra price JBL is asking..

Because when I connect my old 2.1 speakers via aux it has the volume controlling issues, when I changed to optical option I didn't had this volume controlling issue again. So if this the same case and if Bluetooth and optical connections are working to control the volume then it should be fine for me.

Blitwolf have a similar but much better speaker for about the same price. It also has the advantage of being able to pair with a dedicated wireless sub-woofer. And to cap everything, IT'S NOT WHITE, so won't turn yellow and grubby after 2 years :-)

@3:40 it shouldn't be compared with TV speakers but with the similarly priced 5.1 channel or something similar. What I suggest is spend a little more and buy a 5.1 channel speaker system which is a much sensible option, Which gives good surround sound and decent bass respective to the price.

5.1 is overrated... Cables need to be managed, most tv is not for 5.1 ur just getting the same audio from all speakers... Not defending Xiaomi here... This is from my personal experience... I used to have a Sony 6.2 - sold it and switched to a Bose soundbar when we moved last year for this exact reason

Samsung hw-k350, the primary reason i went with this setup is the only audio output in my tv was optical and i didnt have space for a dedicated amp and also this was much more economical,has deep bass and the audio is directed towards me instead of bouncing from the bottom of the tv
