Just a thought for a future vid. Discovery+ have just announced that their sports channels are now to be incorporated into TNT Sports and raising subs from £6.99 to £31. Discovery+ have a monopoly on cycling and other non mainstream sports. These fraternities are outraged by this increase with many considering turning to a firestick or similar. I think that there would be a very large uptake for a video explaining just how to do that

I hope you can help me. I use unify iptv extreme app which I love. The media updates used to update successfully with no issues. Lately it’s been a nightmare. The live tv ,VOD and series section updates right away…the guide is always last to update and what should normally take no more then a few minutes can take from 10-20 minutes. Even then it doesn’t update the guide. If you click on the guide a pop up blocker comes up saying the app is refreshing in the background. You can get into live tv but obviously the guide doesn’t work and the movies inthe VOD section are wiped out. The tv shows in the series section are still okay. When you back out of the live tv section also on the firestick, it automatically updates the media contents again. It’s beyond annoying. In the settings on the app you can only change the EPG options from 1-3 days. There’s no option to refresh EPG like they have with smarters apps. I email the provider and they always come back and says it’s fine on our end it’s on my end. I signed my neighbor up to the same service and they have the same issue so I know it’s not on our end…. I wish we can figure out a way to resolve this on our end and then we will be fine. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but the iptv provider also said maybe the ISP provider has blocks on the unify iptv app so it’s not allowing the extreme app to update successfully. I called the ISP provider and they said there’s no way that they can put blocks on apps on the firestick. So I don’t know who to believe. Any suggestions that can help us fix this would be great. Last thing, I think it’s an EPG issue but don’t know for sure. If that’s the case is there an app to resolve the update issue with the guide and media contents?

Its Amazon just slowly .... quietly boiling the frog. In the end they will have their new OS in place and you will only be able to load paid for proprietary apps. Buy an Android box ..... de bloat it and enjoy decent RAM and no buffering for a change.

Have you noticed though that Amazon have returned to the old “title bar” on the Home Screen.I have two Firestick Lites and only one has updated meaning one has the 6 apps and the other just says “Fire TV” in the space.
