I have the first Generation of the Xiaomi Vacuum. Still going strong. There's no doubt that the laser mapping is a must and made me buy it, a few years ago. I was back then, surprised how it didn't bumped everything, like others that cost much more. Definitely recommend one of theses. A great time saver.

This is pretty much on par with the newer roborock t7 that also does Y mopping, overall they're both impressive machine. Thanks for the review. Maybe you can try to compare these with the much cheaper mijia branded one that also does mopping and sweeping but is less powerful

I have a bench with beam about 8 cm off the floor, its good height for the body but not for the detector. Do you have a test to see if it will avoid it. My current V2 roborock version sometimes gets stuck trying to go under the beam or it scraps long the beam during vacuuming.

There is this new robot vacuum I see popping up on my ads everywhere and seems interesting. It is an Indiegogo concept (but like roborock backed by xiaomi, this HaierTAB id apparently backed by Haier). Could you review this HaierTab Tabot Robot Vacuum? Things that interest me are it's power, hair cutting ability and even removable handheld vacuum. I'm curious if it's actually any good and if the app is decent as well for no go zones and such. Just bought xiaomi viomi v3 Have a house about 250 sqm With large tiled area of about 150 sqm. And we have a black labradore , his fur is really hard to clean.Don't really care about capers, but about vacuuming and moping the tiled area. Have i done the right choice? Thankd

Good video . Handy looking gadgets , they would not do my place i dont think , it is old and shaggy carpets have lumps and bumps in them , we would need the four wheel drive/all terrain version of the vacuum robots :) .

Thanks for the review. I have a rug in the living room that is about 1/2 the room and large tile in the other half. When the machine is in vacuum and mop mode, I want to mop and vacuum the tile floor, but only vacuum the rug. Can it do this automatically by sensing the rug and turning off the mop? Then when it goes back to the tile floor, it will do both mop and vacuum. Either Viomi V3, or Roborock S5Max, or S6 MaxV or ??

S6 maxV can do it but you have to select area for it. Its not automatic (no sensors for rug)

Hi, a small correction ;-) S5 Max has, contrary to what you said here and in the review of S5 Max, spot Clean directly on the robot. Hold down the Dock button for three seconds and you'll have spot clean :-)

Being able to vacuum & mop at the same time doesn't matter with this one, as you could only either chuck the dustbin or the water tank in the bot instead of both. all the dust that gets sucked up would just get dumped again, due to there being nothing to store them on while it's in mop mode.

yep . for sure .newer model have many option . like mopping , no go zone , restricted area , multi map floors and they run quieter with stronger suction . you can chose which room need to be cleaned on which day . and the price just similar first version .even cheaper with discount code .

Hello. I have the robot and it mapped 3 rooms. All are different levels. When i move the vacuum to a different room it will not stop, but go on searching for the dock until battery dies. I have a roborock s1 and it searches for the dock for 10 seconds and announces that it cannot find the dock and stops... What is the problem with the Viomi I wonder.

Each level has to be separate map. The docking station will be in just one of the levels.

I have viomi v2 pro, which I think is very similar. With carpets is useless, mine are ~1cm height, I have 3 in the bedroom and it is not able to finish the cleaning sometimes it get stuck (I have a corner where it has to climb the carpet and it simply can't or it takes like 10 min to just get out from there) and other times it finish without going everywhere. When I removed the carpets it work fine 15 min for ~13m. It is not working well (takes a lot of time and is not going on all the room) when you have more furniture (it is just enough to have a few chairs). The moping is ok-ish if you don't expect much. If you ask my mother it is useless, not cleaning well and leaves a lot of trace, spots. And then it comes the app, again useless. Virtual walls are inaccurate I was not able to place them to avoid a wardrobe, you can not place them to avoid small area ~1m. They say you can have a map for each room, I tried so many times to save one map for each room, impossible it just recreates the map every time and you can not save it. In general the app is not very intuitive, in the end I gave up using it because it bring 0 benefits, so I just use the button.

If you have no carpets and little furniture (remove all the chairs when use it) it is working ok as a vacuum an also ok as a mop but only if you don't care much (there will be ~15cm from every wall where it will not mop at all).

Bu fiyat vergiler hariç 1800 kadar vergisi olsa Türkiye fiyatı ile aynı oluyor 🙄 Yine de bir bakın, ben aldığım sitede baktım muadili sitelerde belki uygun fiyatlı mevcuttur. Ama fiyatlar uçtu gerçekten. Ben Viomi V3 ve S 5 max arasında kaldım derin araştırmalar sonucunda. Yerli ve yabancı ürün tanıtan arkadaşların tavsiyesi genelde S5 max oldu. Viomide yazılımsal hatalar olabiliyormuş. Tabi teknoloji biraz da şans işi. Elimden geldiğince detaylı yazmaya çalıştım çünkü bende sizin gibi kararsızdım izlemediğim video yazmadığım youtuber kalmadı umarım faydalı olmuştur.

V3 de bazı siteler ve KZbin da yorumlarda yazılım ile ilgili problemler yaşandığını duymuştum. Bu da biraz etkili oldu. Bana sorarsanız mop özelliği çok önemli değilse sizin için S5 maxı tercih edin derim ki zaten onun da mop özelliği gayet başarılı. Diğerini görmediğim için bir şey diyemeyeceğim. Bu arada dockını şarj istasyonunu hiç bulamadığı olmadı ve gerçekten çok engeli aşabiliyor. Umarım yardımcı olmuştur. Son olarak şu an Türk ticaret sitelerinde de uygun fiyatlarda mevcut yurtdışından ziyade şu an onları değerlendirebilirsiniz. Xiaomi Türkiye garantili olmasına dikkat edin yurtdışından gelenler öyle değil bazı Türk sitelerinde olanlarda xiaomi Türkiye garantili olmayabiliyor. Umarım yardımcı olmuştur. A big ask i think , as i believe UV light takes some time to do the job, and the device would need a much bigger power source to do the mechanical cleaning and UV thing . A good idea though .

@@mikldude9376 I did some reading before this video appears. It does require quite a bit of power and drains battery very fast if added to this genre of machine. Perhaps a bigger battery capacity + more efficient light source will make it work for domestic cleaning

I am disappointed that I bought Viomi ... 10 days of using it suddenly the error doesn't want to vaccum, it's just mooping.. I sent it to the official service for 5 months and they said they didn't know how to fix it, you can imagine the technician was confused and my product was returned without success. It's better if the Mijie G1 from Xiomi is cheap but the quality is much better
