For the Bowyers out there. TUO WOOD was used according to the description. Looks alot like Osage- but at 6:46 We can see the Sap Wood still intact for the back of the bow. If Osage I think the maker would know that it is not ideal for Sap wood to be the back. Just an observation. Great job all around though. Liked the use of clamps instead of a vice

Nice woodwork. Medeival English longbows were made so that outside was sapwood and inside was heartwood. It took up to 4 years to make one, as the wood was slowly worked to shape. It also took a long training to use one, because they were very stiff.

Superb job, dear lady. It took days to create that bow and knowledge of the wood to avoid mistakes of breaking after making a pull. I made one. Took me days. It broke after 3 pulls. Such a pity. All work for nothing.

The wood looked very hard and difficult to cut; is it similar to a wood used in the South parts of America (USA) for bows? "Maclura pomifera Moraceae" known as Osage Orange?

You are an amazing maker! I love your videos, because, you actually do all the work yourself. There are no camera tricks, or time jumps in your videos, and it shows your diligence to represent the Maker World in a wonderful light. I also like, for this bow, how you used the tools that were used by the men and women of the past. Keep up the great work!❤️
