XIKAR Lighter Troubleshooting: Internal Flame Adjustment

If the flame adjustment on your lighter is not within the desired range, you can change the internal adjustment range at home. The instructions in this troubleshooting video only apply to the following XIKAR lighters:

This is a comment I make after having to deal with the after sale service from Xikar. This company takes it seriously. They replaced a faulty lighter I got from a oversea retailer. I wrote a number of unfair messages but the Xikar company was not to blame. That oversea shop was. Xikar made everything to solve the problem the very day they heard what was going on. In an attempt to restore some fairness here, I have to say they kindly listened to my rant when they could have simply sent me back to that shop. Instead; they took the problem on them and sent me a brand new lighter without judging my attitude. Be sure to buy straight from them. I thank you guys. My trust in your company is fully restored.

My last 3 Xicar lighters have all malfunctioned. The first was the lighting lever. The second was a leak in the butane storage. Now I have one that spews butane instead of a flame. I have now hit the Xicar trifecta thus am a total glutton for punishment. Xicar has become my "Golden Dancer"

Here's a follow up my triple jet, the lighter that missed behaved. It miss behaves no more. It took me a couple of adjustments and now it has met all of my expectations. So far so good.

Hi how do I get in contact with youre company through private messenging I've got a xikar tech blue single flame I purchased about a year ago. I've watched all of your trouble shooting videos and tried every suggested course of action for maintenance but it will not fill properly and even when filled after much effort and wasted fuel when I press the ignition switch it no longer seems to be drawing butane. There is no audible hiss and even though the ingnition spark is working flawlessly it absolutely will not produce a flame.

Never buying another Xikar. I sent one in for 'Lifetime' warranty repair (following all instructions online) and never heard from them. It's been well over a month now. Sent about 5 emails and two voice messages. Nothing! What's a lifetime warranty worth when they don't even send your lighter back or respond? Thanks for stealing my lighter, Xikar!

I have the pulsar and it doesn't light every time. Isn't xikar suppose to light every time???
