Excellent video Od1n you are so helpful! I took a chance and pasted this into my splitgate config on Xbox, and guess what it works really well removing a lot of recoil from the AR and SMG! I have been practising smart actions with other configs and although I am starting to understand the angles and how much weight to add, I'm struggling a little with what values to add in ms.

Happy to hear that! :) A few weeks ago (like 3-4 or so) i uploaded a general anti recoil guide which shows exactly how to figure out the perfect delay values. You basically make the smart action move into a different direction on purpose to find the best timing. The video will show you how to do that, you can find it on this channel! :)

good contribution ..and clear explanation ..in my case I don't have xim matrix but I do have xim apex combined with cronuzen I did some time ago for a medium compensation between aiming at the enemy or aiming at the void or surroundings so that the recoil In both cases it is easy to control both aiming and shooting at the enemy and aiming and shooting in the air... it is also good to try to reduce the enemy's magnetism bubble as much as possible to deal with this issue... that would be another I was afraid to handle it with the ballistic curves and sensitivities... it would be something a little more complex, but with time and patience it can be achieved. The issue is that for each one the sensitivity is different. It is up to each one to look for it

The good thing with Matrix and Nexus is that the sensitivity will always be the same, so that removes a lot of work. You must only copy what is shown in the video and it is guaranteed to work! :)

Quick ?, So I just got the vaxee npo1s and despite it being a 3395 sensor, it has preset dpi options that top at 3200, I know this was done on the apex...is it still a good amount for the matrix? Seen some comments suggesting more like 12k+

Oh absolutly, thats a great value! Some of the Matrix features benefit from using more DPI as you give the Matrix more data with which it can work with. But honestly the difference between 3200 and 10.000 DPI is really minimal. If your mouse doesnt offer more then its not like you are missing out on something!

Hey I have a question hoping you can help me out I’ve been trying to connect my mouse and key to the adapter using a wooting keyboard I went to the wooting app and switched everything I was suppose to as shown in the forums but when I get in game I cant walk with wasd and use my mouse or the other way around I can aim and shoot with my mouse but can’t move around with keyboard would any suggestions? Hey, did you create a Mouse + Gamepad config? And did you switch your Wooting profile to your analog one once it has been connected to the XIM? Wooting will load the default digital profile so you must manually switch with FN + whatever key you assigned to it.

Hey, that is fully up to you. Personally i dont use anti recoil for sniper heroes, so config 2 and 3 from the previous video dont have any anti recoil. The first one is what i use for Soldier or Baptiste. I have added the Soldier anti recoil for it, and in another config with the same settings i have the Baptiste one in it.

Weird thing I noticed is that with soldier antirecoil, the orbital aim assist is way less noticeable (not the AA, but the shake). Do you think soldier antirecoil activates orbital aim assist on its own? How I noticed is in the hero menu on my tracer config, when I hold the shoot button down - the hero noticeably moves bc of the circular movement. On my soldier config with the antirecoil and same orbital assist, the hero doesn’t move (almost like soldier antirecoil takes priority on the movement). Just a funny thing I noticed. Would love your input

Hey, its probably just how the aim mechanic works. Smaller inputs become less noticeable when faster ones are registered. Regardless of that will the orbital aim assist still be active when using an anti recoil smart action, since its activated by moving the crosshair. The anti recoil smart action will just move your crosshair a lot more, and therefore also activate the aim assist.

Yes thats possible, its called toggle and can be found in the activation menu of the smart action manager (at the very top). You have plenty of toggle options there, such as on press, on release, and many more.

Hey, what do you mean with reapply? I would suggest to use different configs. One for Soldier, one for Baptiste, and one for other heores. With the config hotkey feature you can then switch into these configs with a single button press. So you must not edit configs everytime you want to play a different hero.

The matrix is the only device that lets you use 0.2 actuation points in game without cracker box movement allowing you to have wooting analog feel. Im sure the wooting does the same but this is game changing. People buy Strikepacks/Cronus's for competition mode/ability to use different controllers. If the general public knew you could use the lowest actuation points possible I think it could possibly increase the sales for the casuals that want analog feel and nothing else; lots buy Cronus's just to use different controllers. Same rules apply now 💡

Hey, you do it in the same fashion as shown in this video but instead of binding it to your left mouse button you bind it do a right trigger position binding. See my Nexus OW2 Config video for details, its the same setup as for Matrix + controller. Also your ingame settings must be the same as in this video or else the recoil effect will be lower.

Every console game has a maximum turnspeed that you cannot exceed. The one of OW2 is very slow. If you move your mouse faster than that then the game will ignore it and your XIM shows a red blinking. Either move your mouse slower, or reduce your XIM Sensitivity to avoid this problem. This cannot be fixed, its how console games are programmed.

You can do that by using Smart Actions. Create s Smart Action in your Ash config and bind the Config Switcher Action to it. Have this one direct to your Windowmaker config. Then do the same in the Widowmaker config but make it point to the Ash config. That way you can switch configs without Nav Mode whenever you want to! :)

Works the same for Matrix too! :) As for the orbital aim assist, no you must always activate it uppon start. There is currently no option to have a smart action to run by default. You must always activate them for now.

If the game has changed the aim assist or aim mechanic then you cannot do anything against that with your XIM settings. The XIM game config of OW2 would need to be updated.

Yes absolutely! Matrix supports controllers too and you can use the very same smart actions as shown in this video as well (and they will work in the very same way). Just change the activation button to your right controller trigger for example.

Hey, theoretically you must only create a "Gamepad" config for OW2 and then insert the smart actions from this video. Then change the activation button of the smart action at the top to the R2 button (press and hold it). If you prefer a longer explanation just watch my "XIM Nexus OW2 Config" video. Its steps are 1:1 the same with Matrix + Controller when picking the "Gamepad" config! It also shows how to setup anti recoil!

For the anti recoil you are required to use the same ingame settings as me though (recommended XIM ingame settings). @@owencastellone1910 XIM Apex isnt PS5 compatible, you can however play PS4 version games on it. If you want to play PS5 games you must either use one of the PS5 workarounds for XIM Apex (see my videos on that) or use a XIM Matrix instead.

@@owencastellone1910 Yes exactly, you connect an original Sony PS4 controller to your XIM Apex (port 3) and your mouse and keyboard go to port 1 or 2. Then you can play the PS4 version on the PS5. For PS5 games see my previous comment above.

Aim assist (and all of its options) only play a role in that they reduce your sensitivity. In that case you have two options as shown in the video.

Yes, however you can use use only one port on your router if you use a cheap network switch for 20$ (Netgear). You connect both the PS5 and Matrix to the switch, and the switch is connected with one cable to your router.

@@bradguynam7887 Yes, you must change your mouse DPI via the PC manager. The DPI option in the XIM config only lets you tell your XIM how much DPI you run on. Your XIM cannot change your mouse DPI value.

All you must do is to reduce the magnitude by a certain percentage. Say Xbox is 20% faster, then you divide every magntiude by 1,20. Wait actions and everything else must not be changed.

@@demonvotize1426 The firmware doesnt matter, only the manager. If it opened and closed then you either have a XIMMR file on your PC that isnt compatible with the 2019 manager (as in too recent or too old), or you did not deinstall your previous manager prior to installing the 2019 one.

If you want to use anti recoil on a controller then thats absolutly no problem. Also the setup steps for controller and MnK are the same, so you can follow any of my anti recoil videos! :)

@@XIMCentral I'm on ps4 but before season 9 came out as far as I can remember it was 100% accurate or close enough but now baptiste aim goes slightly down and soldier aim goes slightly up. I tested it on the bots in the practise range. But it's only slightly off target so it shouldn't be much of a problem.

@@RIGGEDY I can only talk about Matrix since i havent used Apex in months now. Apex doesnt have the hardware power of Matrix so it cannot run the better SAB. So yeah theres a good chance that its not sufficient. With Matrix you wont have any issues though.

This anti recoil on soldier no longer works, it goes up now and it didn’t before beta. Also it’s impossible to make my own with the workshop because I’m on console and the bullets don’t stay.

Hey, just tried it and the recoil is still the same. What console are you on? As for the workshop use screenshots or record a video to know where the bullets went to. Alternatively use the manual way as shown in my advanced XIM Matrix anti recoil video.

@@alexshirilla3904 Its probably because you are on Xbox and these values are made for the PS5. On the PS5 it stays perfectly still, no movement. The sensitivity and stick resolution on Xbox is slightly different so you have to adjust the magnitudes a bit.
