I've always been annoyed by the people who get into exercising or fitness and immediately are like: "Omg, exercise is sooo good, I feel so great" and it always feel so pressuring and judgemental. I love that you put these things in a pleasant way - research, tips, reasoning. Even if someone who listens doesn't care about this stuff, it sticks with the listener. Your mentality sticks with the listener. And if one day that someone decides to make a change, there's your influence. Thanks, everyone needs a Xisuma in their life to guide them!

Queen Ragdoll I’ve seen some of the toxicity but I’m very careful with my likes and follows to cater to my interests. My For You page is full of lesbians, drag queens, and broadway singers. It can def be toxic if you aren’t careful. Every once in a while I’ll get some bullshit but I scroll right past and it gets rarer as time goes on. The app isn’t for everyone and if you don’t want to use it that’s cool. But if you do, you might find people who interest and entertain you.

One of the habits I developed is listening to a specific genre of music while doing work. If I'm not doing work, I don't listen to that genre of music, and when I am doing work, I listen to that genre of music. Now, whenever I listen to that genre, I get uncomfortable when I'm not working, like I taught my brain that this genre means work time.

It was amazing i can't stop smiling and i think i will call my family more often and make it a good habit because OH GOD i needed that without realizing it, i didn't talked to my friends too for a while now, i'll just ask them to get on a call tommorow i guess. And yes i talked about myself and it almost doesn't have anything to do with the video but i don't care, but i still thougt i would have wrote something shorter so maybe sorry 👀

I developed a habit in a similar way. The entrance gate for my the yard at my house has a bar going over it so any time I walk through it I'd try to do a few pull ups. Over time I went from hanging for 5-10 seconds all the way to doing 10 quick pull ups. Of course it took me a few months to work up to those 10 pull ups since I had to build up my strength from 0 and I had to learn to properly do the pull ups, but it was worth it. And it's not like it's something major. It started as something that took only 5-10 seconds. That's nothing, but since I created that habit I managed to get it to evolve into something more over time. Now I'm working on a new habit. I have an iron axis that was used for an old-timey wagon back in the day. It weighs about 10 kg and I just use it like a barbell and do 5 curls whenever I walk past it. End goal is to build up several more habits like these so they're incorporated into my daily life and not something that I have to go out of my way in order to do. I've found that if it's something that takes a few seconds I can never think of an excuse not to do it because it's...well...a few seconds. My time isn't that precious.

I did a sports psychology presentation for determination and resilience including the 1% theory which was introduced by Sir Dave Brailsford who called it the aggregation of marginal gains. British cycling won 1 gold in 76 years. He was appointed head in 2002. Next olympics Britain won 7 out of 10 golf medals and its first Tour de France. Things they changed included: painted truck white to spot any dust that could cause damage to bikes, appointed doctor to investigate best way to wash hands, etc. Sir Clive Woodward who was head of English rugby also used this leading to 2003 World Cup victory. Other topics I did in these presentations are: hope vs expectation (which is better), intrinsic vs extrinsic motivation and growth mindset by Carol Dweck. All of which I’m sure you’d find interesting to look into X

Exercise is a dumb thing really, your body was made to do it but life nowadays doesn't lend it self to it. Mostly cause it's not fun most of the time, you don't need it, is serves no use in the short term. So it's a pretty bad deal all around.
