Solution to receiving a boat: String and an observer into a comparator decay clock. When leaving you'll trigger the clock first which would disable the boat dispenser until the clock runs out.

22:55 That is an RS Nor Latch, not a T-flip-flop. The first version of this game used a T-flip-flop and that was the issue with being able to start and stop the timer from the same power source. The RS Nor Latch was the fix to this which is now implemented, making the inputs from the entrance and exit distinct lines.

Add an "escort mission" to the undying game where you have to guide a zombie to the goal by influencing his path with sticky piston slime launchers and other contraptions. At the goal the zombie kills you and is recycled for the next round.

I think a good challenge room for the game would be a bubble elevator that’s front is open, and you can fall out at any time. The challenge would be to fall out as soon as possible, while still dying.

That tower is actually really clever if you think about it. People quite often build out the shape of buildings with temporary blocks like dirt but with the ore, you can go along with a fortune pick and gain a tonne of quartz while building!

15:50 - The totem of undying gives you a regen effect, so you need to wait before starting the next room: Perhaps, then, you should alternate: First you play a totem room (die/activate the totem before proceeding to the next room) Then you play a parkour or another type of time-based non-totem challenge (race through a maze, grab some ender pearls and teleport around a room until you've activated all the switches, jump down a pit and climb up a ladder on the other side, hit a bunch of targets with a non-riptide trident, etc.) Idea being that by the time you get through the non-totem challenge, the regen effect has worn off and you're ready for the next totem room.

On the zippy ice, maybe use a button instead of a pressure plate. It's marginally less convenient but would make it so that you wouldn't get a boat unless/until you wanted/needed one.

I think the falling damage one could be rebuilt in a similar manner using slimeblock piston launchers. Have the deepest parts where you'd accumulate the most damage be smaller areas and farther away, so you have to be more accurate for maximum damage, like through the middle of a group of panes of glass? Additionally, you could automate the timer system better by using a hopper feeding into a shulker box, I think, and using a 20-tick clock to provide 1 nugget per second. Have a large excess of nuggets stored above, and a handful of shulkers, so that when you want to reset the timer, all you have to do is push a button and it discards the shulker box into an auto-unloader and cycles it back through into the buffer, and a new shulker box can be placed basically instantly.

Maybe you can put in a "fall shaft" where the player picks which shaft to push a button, where the floor drops out from them, but the bottom varies by which one they select? So it adds some random luck as to the distance they fall to kill themselves. Then at the bottom of each shaft, is a door that leads to either an exit (if they select the correct one) or a water elevator to take them back to the top to try again. - This is to replace the Elytra challenge.

X you don't need to scrap the elytra one. Just put string at a certain height and provide an enderpearl. So if they cannot take off they can just throw the enderpearl up at the string, activate their elytra, and then take off. Or even just require the enderpearl throw at the beginning of that room.

last room of minigame replacement idea (feeding off your elytra idea) What if you set up slime block trampolines with some redstone in a tower, the trampoline on the floor can reach another slime block trampoline thats higher. the idea (like the elytra challenge) is to get as high up as you can using the slimeblock trampolines in order to fall the longest distance quickly. idk if someone sees my idea here and can try to build it in game to show Xisuma, thatd be awesome

*@xisumavoid* Two suggestions; 1. I think the undying game would be better if you offer them a choice of ways to hurt themselves. For example, a cactus and a short parkour to get fall damage. The parkour might be faster, if they don't mess it up too many times... but cactus would be a safer but slower way. Make 'em think a bit. 2. The nether ice-boat run could have string a short distance before the end, to "lock" the dispenser for a few seconds and prevent getting a boat when coming back.
