Neuvilette was the last hydro vishap and Enkomiya people made experiments on him to decline the vishaps in all others elements. The hydro vishap wasn’t pure anymore and he was punished and became human. He was wandering around when Focalor found him and Neuvilette hasn’t memories of vishaps. But as the last hydro vishap and a descendant of dragons he became a dragon sovereign at the moment Focalors died

Yup.. Unfinished Piano Phase 1 gave it that ominous setting and theme.. Introducing us to the impending danger above us.. Whilst this one plays right after a cutscene of Mavuika lending aid to us, with the heroes never forgotten by the People of Natlan pushing us, the Traveler to defeat the mimic who dares replicate Xiuhcoatl. Perfect story in this theme, can't wait for the finished fully orchestrated version.

He stated that Xiuhcoatl faked his death, Och-Kan being his son, and how he was supposed to kill the Pyro Sovereign and become the new one. There's a lot to unpack there. The quest will trigger once you go to Ochkanatlan's Statue of the Seven. I don't remember the name of the quest, though.

This gave me so much goosebumps because you could almost tell what's gonna happen in the story by just listening. It also reminded me of Apep and Azhdaha's soundtracks, both music that were played during the climax of Nahida and Zhongli's SQ. It has a strong sense of confidence, unity, and heroism against an overwhelming foe, but this fight is not necessarily directed towards that foe but something else, again very similar to Apep and Azh. It could be a story of rescuing a foe from itself again. It's also giving me a vibe or story of, "Our combined will-power will overcome anything ahead of us including fate itself, which is why we will win. Yes, it won't be easy but we will absolutely win.", just sheer confidence against an overwhelming obstacle as if a parallel universe where we lost simply didn't exist, like fate itself was rewritten at the very moment where we became united.

@SoinEight I know but they pay attention to so many other cultures deep history and mythology so why not just do a quick search on dragon-like creatures. They have behaviors and movement types and all these other things they could have based the dragons off of but instead we get dvalin, durin, and the original hydro dragon can't remember the name at the moment. They gave us orobashi which was just a serpent but he was dead so we can't actually see the cool fights that would have happened unless they animate it in the future more than that one animation that just showed it screaming at raiden. Then we have apep which is a really cool design and now this which is also cool. Really only 3 unique dragon types we can see in game though out of 6 nations so far

I don't think it's mimicking it because it wouldn't be able to control the pure flame from natlan I think it's possessing the pyro dragons actual corpse or body if he isn't dead

It could possibly be either Xiuhcoatl himself or a mimic of him. But I wouldn't say he's undefeatable, Xbalanque defeated him on his own and he was just a human then

@@mariana123-b7u well the ingame text indicates that Xiuhcoatl faked his death against primordial one and hid. Slowly his power began to wane and he became very decripit and almost corpse like. When he started corroding the ley lines and stuff, Xbalanque fought him at the volcano of tollan and stabbed him in his weak spot..aka the eye(the eye got split in two and became the two golden entreaties). Xbalanque and Xiuhcoatl both fell from great height and died. Xbalanque however was reborn in flames. So according to game text he did die, and xbalanque only managed to defeat him because 1 - he had a weakspot he could exploit 2- he was already injured and never recovered from his fight against primordial one and kept getting weaker from there 3- He was already almost a corpse by the time Xbalanque fought him. So my guess is either he died and his corpse was taken over by abyss. But that would mean he has been reincarnated, and a reincarnated dragon sovereign should be a well known character(who knows maybe Mavuika lol) as Neuvilette was the strongest man in Fontaine even without his full power. Same should be for xiuhcoatl. OR he didn't "die" in the sense that..what came out of that flame was probably not just xbalanque or xbalanque at all. What if Xiuhcoatl's consciousness attached itself to xbalanque when he died and resurrected as him? I mean I am basing this off the theory that Ajaw isn't just spouting random nonsense and his words make sense. He calls himself dragon lord. has a pact with Kinich. When kinich dies, his body will be possessed by Ajaw. What if ajaw + kinich relation is exactly what Xbalanque and Xiuhcoatl have?

Apparently Iansan's tribe is very much based in Mexico with Wrestlers. So it wouldn’t surprise me if that theme is used in that tribe with the music being more spanish/mexican. Mariachis and so on. The Saurian is also a Bison so they could make something like Bleach early osts. (Clavar la espada for example).
