I struggled out of my sick-bed to make up a bracket for the headlight and speedometer on the XJR1300 - not my neatest work but easily cleaned up and not bad for someone suffering from Covid-19!!

New intro I see! Very clean setup Euan! You cant have enough tape and zip ties holding things in place to tac. Tacking with a tig can be even harder as you cant hold it with your hand since you have to feed in filler wire which adds a lot of complexity. You are right though with heat input and weld spatter

Looks like a cold or flu he he The C is different for everyone, but common suffering would be lethargy. Take some time to chill to and remember loads of KZbin to watch lol. Front end is coming along nicely.

Looks fantastic. One thing that I've noticed when mounting my phone at the kind of angle your speedo is at, is that it gets a lot of glare on it (reflecting the bright sky). Do you think that might become a problem, especially since the speedo glass is convex?
