Doug, Jaguar made some great cars in their time particularly when Sir William was around. It went down hill under Ford but Tata brought it back from the edge I‘m sure if the old Tata boss was still around this logo and add BS would not have seen the light of day. Cheers Dave

Dave, Jaguar as a brand has lost its way !!!! I have commented in the past about my XK 150 project and you have been very kind and supportive. Between my son and I we have seven Jags. Plus two of my brothers each have one. An XK 150, 2 XKE, 2 XJS V-12, a XK 8 Silverstone and 3 XK8s. We all caught the Jag bug from our father and love every one of them. My son and I agree that even if Jag goes under the rich heritage and appeal for the brand will never die. KEEP THE FAITH 😂

Don't forget how Land Rover took the Defender off the market before the relaunch and look how thats going now. The concept car may well be just that and the planned launch model could well look like a real Jaguar albeit with an electric motor. Food for thought?

Robert, Land Rover really have pulled it back and I agree the prototype is just that I‘m sure if it comes to market it will be nothing like we have been shown. Cheers Dave

I wonder if it is planned and that the logo design isn’t the final version. Perhaps it was put out there to create conversations and comments on social media so the brand “Jaguar” gets publicity and then there will be a new logo revealed at some car event. Perhaps they will launch the Jaguar Type-EV?

Jaguar in the US are buying back all MY2018/9 I-Pace's due to the batteries igniting.. Here in the UK Jaguar are sitting on their hands. Unfortunately owners are seeing the value of the I-Pace collapsing.

I have always liked the idea of the hybrid cars but going fully electric is proving to be a disaster for most companies. Why Jaguar would shoot themselves in the foot like this is beyond me. I think for a little town car or short runs EVs have there place but i can see hydrogen power being the answer. Cheers Dave

Hi Dave, Those in top positions at jaguar just dont know how to increase sales. They see a world that doesnt know its arse fae its elbow with woke and cancel culture dominating. So some young bright spark must have advised them to try to appeal to the woke crowd. The current Jaguar models are average at best. As you say we dont need the factory. You get what you deserve.. If Jaguar made better looking models & also made them reliable Jaguar wouldn't be in this position in the first place 🤔 This is why running a company by committee doesn't work. Evening Dave, hope you have been well. I tell you, everything woke turns to shit. It's unfortunately that the classics are being affected by this, considering those who built the XK, E type, etc had a good old set between the legs. XK is looking really good! I got my Mini parts from the UK, got the new GMC227 master to replace my broken 195 unit. Also got the Gunson Eezibleed so fingers crossed I get this done tomorrow morning. Got tons a new parts so couldn't be more excited! Have a great evening further
