Got another statue in to celebrate getting to 20K subscribers! Today we're taking a look at DARK PHOENIX by XM Studios!
Background:
After Jean and the X-Men defeated scientist Stephen Lang and his robotic Sentinels on his space station, the heroes escaped back to Earth in a shuttle through a lethal solar radiation storm. Dying from radiation poisoning, Jean was saved by the cosmic entity known as the Phoenix Force who created a duplicate body complete with memories and personality, absorbed a portion of her consciousness and cast her into suspended animation in a strange cocoon at the bottom of Jamaica Bay. For months the Phoenix believed itself to be the real Jean and saved the universe by healing the M’Kraan Crystal. Mental manipulation by Mastermind caused Phoenix to go insane and become Dark Phoenix.

bigphatpaulie Definitely! Was finally able to track one down for a decent price. With 999 out there, it’s a little easier than trying to find a grail custom that won’t kill your bank account.

XM Studios decided to use the prototype's face instead of cheap ones like the previous Phoenix Statue (forunately i didnt buy it) This statue is super amazing, allthough i would prefer other face of Jean Grey more beautiful (in my taste). If i ever have 1000euros to buy this gorgeous statue i will place the full dark phoenix mode head because it reminds me all these memories from the Dark Phoenix Saga. All I hope now is a White Phoenix of the Crown statue with also prototype face. P.S. You can also place it as Phoenix Force statue without Jean Grey in it xD such an amazing job!

The two are on completely different levels (and price points). He’s great for a smaller scale and much more affordable than something like this. Dc Marvel United Wondering what it is about them that makes you not a fan. Is it the quality/design of their statues or something about their business practices?
