I'm a 42 year old father of an 8 (soon to be 9) year old son and I've always, always made sure that when my son is watching KZbin that we are sitting next to him as he's consuming the content. We encourage him to watch channels like Mark Rober, Stuff Made Here and Look Mum No Computer. Basically, content which is shows people being creative, having problems building things then working through how to solve them. A number of other parents in our social circle let their kids have unfettered and unmonitored access to KZbin, assuming that KZbin adequately polices the content that is being created on the platform. As this video demonstrates, that is clearly not the case. I have no idea what viewing content like this is going to do young kids and the fact that it's being created, and parents are allowing access to it (through indifference) is completely mind blowing to me. I'm going to forward this video to a few other parents and hopefully that gives them an insight into some of the content that is available on KZbin.

I'd you need additional cases and examples of simular content that is advertised to children, I'd recommend looking into what once was Elsagate. A series of, "educational" channels that barely constituted as so. The videos would consist of a women dressed up as Elsa, (from the Disney franchise: Frozen) and a man dressed as Spiderman, making semi-educational content. Though it started out harmless, eventually other people saw how lucrative it was and copied the original people. This started a battle where they would constantly try to one up each other, making the videos more and more incoherent. Eventually you got content like, "Spiderman uses Pregnant Elsas stomach as a dart board using hypodermic needles" or "pregnant Spiderman gives birth to the boss baby". I'm barely paraphrasing when mentioning these videos titles. Fortunately, KZbin banned the content, but only after big KZbinrs like H3H3 and a few others made videos on the subject, (which is all that remains in the topic, if you care to look into it). I fear the same thing is going on in this genre of, "children's" content.

His content is 100% directed to children because his entire audience from when I knew him until now have been kids that like FNAF. I am ashamed to say I used to be close friends with Xman. When I knew him he was relatively normal, just a little cringe as most gmod fnaf youtubers are. But I decided to distance myself when I saw his videos & thumbnails started getting more & more sexual. I gotta say though holy fuck, I had no idea it has gotten this bad. He's known his audience are children since he first started getting popular. Consistency: Probably the most important factor to success as a content creator, the youtube algorithm values those who post often. 2. Quality: Putting out content that clearly has skill and effort behind it is a good way to get a following. Many channels post really rarely, such as Ahoy, but their videos are so high quality that they manage to get a big following regardless. 3. Niche: Content creation is a REALLY oversaturated area, millions of people try to catch the attention of viewers, and this leads to fierce competition. You probably won't find much luck getting an audience when you're posting something like fortnite montages, because there are tons of other people posting the exact same thing (unless you consistently put out high quality content). you just gotta find your area of expertise if you actually want to persue something like this. I also recommend you go into this without the mindset of doing this as a job, and rather as a fun hobby. You'll burn out quick and stop having fun real quick if you don't actually enjoy it, and you don't get paid a whole lot until you start getting a large audience. Also, take everything i say with a grain of salt. I've dabbled in content creation a bit and gotten a decent audience over the years, but i'm really only someone who knows a bit more than the average person about the subject.

Dear Bub, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this type of investigation/journalism in the GMOD gaming scene. I don't play GMOD anymore, I quit back in 2017 when I was 17, and man, I can't even begin to count how many times over the years of playing gmod I was interacting with creeps who were clearly trying to groom me or whatever. I played it on and off from age 11 to 17, 15 to 17 was private TTT servers with friends and/or us RDMING as a squad in public TTT servers. Bu tbefore that I would play RP servers a lot. So many creeps. I can't imagine how many kids have been taken advantage of through this one game alone. It's full of kids and it's already a meme/weird community already, it's an RP community so you are gonna draw weird people just by nature (not saying RP is bad), and when you add the plethora of children on top of it, it's open season for these creeps. Thank you for exposing this dude and the other videos you have done about these people. I don't know what can be done about this, and I hope something is done, but you shining a spotlight on this is huge and I respect you immensely. Have a sausage roll, pal. You were the only gmod youtber I've ever watched, and that's because I loved yoru trolling videos and never felt a weird vibe from you. The rest of the youtubers I've checked out over the years that do GMOD always rubbed me the wrong way and were making adult jokes while making videos clearly targed at kids. You struck a great middle ground of making adult jokes, without sexualizing things, and knew your audience and still made whatever you did humorous. Clearly showing respect for the possibility that kids are watching your content, and of course they are. I hope that at the least this video is seen by some younger kids who are playing gmod and may realize that this stuff is something for them to be aware of and avoid both in YT, and while playing on GMOD. It's unfortunate that they might have had to see these clips you showed in order to realize they should steer clear in the first place, but showing those clips were crucial. AFter seeing those clips, knowing it's clearly directed at kids, and everything else you showed, I am amazed that this guy isn't taken down from YT or in jail. This guy was a large part of my childhood. I had found him when I was 11 (Or 12, I was in a FNaF phase during both) and pretty much loved his videos for the carefree attitude they showed. I remember the phase where his content first became sexualized and it was also when I basically left the FNaF franchise for a while. Xman was (And judging by this he still is) odd, and I believe his first mention outside of his own friend group on KZbin was about a foot fetish (Xman made a video commenting on it, not sure how long ago.). I had later joined his old Discord (Which surprise surprise doesn't exist anymore; not sure if he even has one now.) which is where I fell into a loop of Discord weirdness from uncomfortable roleplay servers (Not run by Xman but was on the server at the time.) and what was basically just straight up FNaF porn shared outside of the server. I had also joined a group of three in Gmod server where they wanted to do one of those FNaF ragdoll roleplays. And where I wanted to recreate how the games would play out, the others either wanted to bring in Sonic the Hedgehog or "Sexy puppet" which neither never made it in because the event lasted no more than 2 hours. Going off of nostalgia, so bare in mind some of this is not accurate to how I view him now, Xman was a laid back FNaF fan who made gameplay content on various FNaF games (Most notably for me were his FNaF AR ones) aswell as FNaF, I guess, fanart where he'd recreate characters in Minecraft. His first Gmod ragdoll roleplay would be of FNaF 6, Pizzeria Simulator. Which was one of the first videos I found from him. It was tame, had very silly humor, but was also trying to remain accurate to the games. Everything from going out after each shift to having to salvage the animatronic you found. It was faithful and didn't introduce anything strange. His decent into madness would begin later when sexy FNaF models swarmed Gmod. During that time I was away from Gmod to instead learn SourceFilmMaker (Still love SFM, and had found out about that software through his Discord.). I believe the first real instance where the sexual models made it to the thumbnails was a series staring Golden Freddy as he basically gets raped by like 18 sexualized characters because he cannot afford to move out, and when he finally does he's tracked down. Those Golden Freddy videos marked the point where I recognized Xman as very creepy, and kept my distance. Leaving his Discord and dragging anyone I met (That I liked) away from it too. Now, having forgotten his name for so long until this hit my recommended, I see Xman as a very real look into the weirdos that are in-fact in the FNaF fandom. I liked him for his Gmod pill pack reviews, I liked him for his hide & seek videos (Which come to think of it actively encouraged people to join him, and you could hear kid's voices through his Discord call as they were playing hide & seek.) and I enjoyed the care-free attitude he had. But, Xman is not someone I would ever talk to again. He is locked away in the never-speak-of-again vault. Like everyone I hope he can grow better, but if this video from Bub is anything to go by, he hasn't changed since I last revisited him in 2020. I continue to love FNaF, but people that support those weird sexualized models (Which there are a lot of them, just look at VRchat and Gmod in it's entirety.) are people to stay away from. In my eyes, being now 16, FNaF is wonderful as an animation and arts helper with it's simplistic characters with a lot of fan injected personality. It can support fans from all-over, and being someone that creates posters and animations of FNaF to better myself in that field I see a lot of very young fans creating artworks that honestly look impressive for their age. And of course adult fans (Of which mostly reside around Markiplier and Game Theory if I had to guess, if not they're somewhere darker.) tend to venture more into FNaF horror. Everything from VHS to the upcoming movie. My comment about Xman723 has become more of a retrospective on FNaF degenerates. Sorry about the rant, and thank you for reading this far... I hope I was clear enough.
