Its true, Die Hard isnt Christmas movie however because the first 2 movies are set around Christmas it does make me wanna watch them at these times. 😂 I also remember if you jumped in skyscraper levels you were invulnarable, at least for most part of the job, i believe you could also survive grenade blasts with it.

Merry Christmas! You left behind a lot of useful items in DH1. When you walk into item crates, bags or carts you have to wait for the item inside to drop then pick it up. On the garage level there was a truck you can go in, get armor and a machine gun early. Also while you did find the side roll buttons, there's also two strafe buttons, making traversing corners, doors easier and allows you to use cover proper when shooting enemies at a corner.

Sorry for commenting multiple times. I forgot to say there is a save data function in each game so you don't have to start all over after death and technically it is possible to find more lives DH1 or get health in DH2. The brutality of these games lessens when you manage to kill enemies quick and take less damage yourself.

Played this as a kid. Never knew wtf was going on but me and my brother still quote what the hostages say in DH2 to this day lol. Puuleeeeezz! 😂 How about trying another terrible Bruce Willis movie game? The Fifth Element. It’s quite similar and has that classic PS1 draw distance of 6 feet lol. It’s known as one of the worst games ever made too.

I always find weird the names they gave to the DH movies here in Italy like: DH1 was The Crystal Trap in italian, DH2 was 58 Minutes To Die...then the third was just Die Hard (I guess they thought "Yeah in the late 80s not a lot of italians knows english" and in 95 "Yeah most of the italians knows english now let's just call it Die Hard) wich make all the things really confusing: for example a lot of people thought that The Crystal Trap(DH1) was related to The Crystal Inferno( The Towering Inferno originally)...it was a mess🤔

It is relevant, he literally uses the wrapping paper to stick the gun to his back to blast Hans outer the window. Also "Now I have a machine gun ho ho ho" scene = iconic. Christmas is all over this movie. Also, the whole movie doesn't exist unless they're up the f*CKING BUILDING, DOING A CHRISTMAS PARTY!!! Oh, and Mclaine wouldn't even be there.....unless it was the holidays! Another super take, as usual.

as explained you could change that in the script to a sticky tape used in all offices. the ho ho ho line is irrelevant to the story he could have said any line makes no diff. and it could have been a party for a takeover of nakatomi tower and mclane had some time off work and wanted to see his wife and kids ffs and it would make no diff to the film. xmas is irrelevant to the story and nothing to do with the theme so therefore not a xmas movie. even bruce willis agrees: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJvJl6Omhc14sJI
