It always makes me think of cotton candy because when I rented this game for PS1 back in 1998, my mom bought me a bag of cotton candy and I ate it while splattering pedestrians in the driving portion of the game.

Nah, this game sucked in every way possible. Back in the day I would try to play the first game but it was boring. I didn't try the 2nd because it was almost impossible. The third I played the most and it was hard af because the graphics were so back and the controls were awful. I wanted to love this game because I'm a huge Die Hard fan but it sucked.

@Larry 3 жыл бұрын
Funniest thing is Fox only wanted Probe to make the Die Hard with a Vengence part as the whole game, Probe had to fight them to add the other segments as they felt it was too limited and would get terrible reviews. Die Hard 1 was the final mode they made too. There's also a Die Hard Trilogy 2 on PS1 set in Las Vegas, plays the same beats as the original, bu made by a totally seperate developer.

Ironic since the game itself is M for Mature and all 3 Die Hard films before Live Free or Die Hard were Rated R, and they still can't have someone swear? Dir Hard: Nakatomi Plaza was the same way too despite it being M for Mature.

It was one of the first games I ever played on PS1, and it was absolutely amazing. Still has some magic in it, like, it was what many modern games turned into, but 20 some years back - now we have those open map cities and office space fights in many many games, and game mechanics is still mostly similar.

I completely forgot about this game yet I really liked it on Saturn. The car section is great and perhaps worth the price alone. The first game was very limited but I think I had fun with it, it was a fresh idea to me at the time though technically it's kind of poor. And yeah, the light gun section is a disaster. I'm not sure it would have been good even if it ran properly, the way the camera moves around is very unrefined compared to Virtua Cop.

Die Hard Trilogy 2, developed by n-Space (Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, 007 Bloodstone, Geist) wasn't as well received but overall I thought it was OK. It's basically the same type of gameplay with the 3 different genre's but instead of it being a trilogy of films it's just one all new overarching story with McLane going to Vegas and taking on terrorists. Another solid video Sega Lord 👍
