That's the way I've always made my stuffing but I add a small finely chopped fresh onion. I think everone likes the stuffing better than the meat. I don't prep until Christmas eve then it goes into the fridge.I wish I had a freezer big enough to do it like you Mandy, what a time saver that would be. Happy Christmas. Ps. I do drink a few Baileys while I do it.

I'll tell you what annoys the hell out of me Mandy, it's people who keep nit picking at what people say or do. There is nothing offensive about 'guys', my take on it is that if it annoys or offends you that much then don't watch! You carry on saying guys - you can please some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time. Great videos, love them. X

I just want to thank you for the sheer joy and happiness that I got from watching you dress your cake! I was sobbing like baby by the time that the marzipan was unwrapped and you were working it with your hands😆. My beloved Gran and Mom used to do this in the 60's and 70's and I used to 'help', making little Christmassy figures out of the scraps of marzipan. These were paintedwith food colours and lookd grotesque, but to little me they were wonderful. I was totally broken when you put the final decorations on though. Those are virtually the same as we used to have! Im thrilled that they live on today. Thank you from the bottom of my heart❤❤❤ PS: you GUYS are great

I'm in Cape Town, South Africa but both my grandads came from the south of England and the connection is strong in me! Thank you for what you share, and do with so much love. BTW my ex and my kids hate marzipan, I have become diabetic type 2 at age 63 but I will enjoy that Christmas cake vicariously 😂😂 much love to you both!

Luck family, having all their favourite recipes made with love! So much hard work and what lovely results. I grew up with bread stuffing in the bird with onion, celery, apple, and seasonings. I can't be bothered to put it in and take it out again, so I do mine in a casserole dish, and it's the family favourite! I've never had it with sausage or bacon, but yours looks delicious. My limited experience of pigs in blankets has been sausage wrapped in pastry, though my mother-in-law used to do hers like yours, but with stuffing inside the bacon layer. I am always fascinated to see what you can buy in your stores that we don't have where I live in Canada. I've never seen Royal Icing or Marzipan sold like that. If you don't like Christmas cake, I hope you enjoy the mince pies :) I am happy to answer to 'guys' and I associate it with your greeting at the beginning, when I am always looking forward to see what's coming 💜

When I work in a pub the chef always made the stuffing mix with hot water first before he mixed it with the sausage and it made the soft and tasty stuffing and he also made sausage rolls using the same method but I’ve never done it the way you do it so I will definitely trying it this year 👍🏻
