1:08:00 So real. Happened to me many times that I outclass the other party's support with buff utimes and I don't make it to the mvp screen. Example: I had 100% brand 85% ap and 40% moonfall. He had 85% brand 35% ap and 12% moonfall and he got "attack support" with underliner on the mvp screen.

wineblue is an example of why kr should have dps meter. bard could get max mp requirement and double brand requirements removed and artist would still be a better support than her. yes bard is broken but that's because support as a role is broken not because of her specifically, she def deserves some changes.

Funny is when you listen his interviews with West vs KR players. West complains about everything. KR is completely opposite - all good, no issues at all. They are happy with the state of the game now.

Listening to them talk about DPS meter and how they’re personally against it, they sounded very brainwashed. In the west I never, ever see any toxicity around DPS meter. Sure, someone who’s severely underperforming might get kicked from the raid, which is imo deserved. If anything, west using DPS meter a lot proved to be more useful and positive than toxic and negative, so their reasoning doesn’t make any sense.

in my experience, it depends on the lobbies you join. Ive joined plenty of lobbies/parties where people blatantly flame low-performers with numbers from the meter. it's usually in lobbies where the avg roster lvl is lower than maybe 160. when I play in higher roster lobbies (240s, Im personally 240-something) it's never an issue. this is on NAE though, not sure if it's more/less chill in other regions

@@HeiLong24 in my experience for every game i played with meter its usually the players who think they are good but aren't actually the greatest at their class that are the ones to flame the most. I use to be a top raiding in ff14 and half the time i would need to be the one defending the new player they are trying to flame for being low on dps and be the one to point out to them that they aren't playing optimally either so they shouldn't be flaming anyone else really

I’m thankful for meter. It made me able to improve at a much faster rate than I otherwise would have being able to look at CPM, my damage pie, etc playing emperor arcana, also able to see and improve my buff brand uptime on supp was massive. Without it, I’d be a blissfully unaware player

Just today with Akkan hm, the dps meter alerted me that the other party's artist was using the wrong tripods on their branding skill so no branding was actually being applied. Unfortunately, the player only spoke Chinese and no English (this is NAW), so we weren't able to communicate how to fix the issue. Still cleared it, but p2's dps was trash because of that

Liar. I witness little shitty roster 180 dps players flame newer support paladins in my brel and kaya hw runs because of meter. The real vets simply laugh and ignore flame because we know we are good and don't have to prove jackshit to plebbs, but newer players lack confidence still and during their growth they run into these other casual baddies all the time trying to assert some weird ass display of dominance just because they have meter and think they're good lmao. I am a dual roster 250+ effectively roster 500, pubbing 42 raids weekly so I've really seen all the nonsense that occurs. Meter is really bad for the game. Most of the time it leads to some asshole spamming quit button after 1 pull or some baddie trying to flame another baddie causing everyone to get jailed as the raid experience implodes. It is one thing to hit the quit button after like 5 pulls, but an entirely different behavior to quit after 1. This shit never happened pre-brel hard days before meter use became rampant.

its actually quiet sad how terrible the west seems to be at thaemine ... Like its punishing but its such a static raid i rlly dont get whats the big issue for the majority ... my experience Sofar hasnt even been bad , sure some lobbies disband or kick some imposters but usually we get it done sooner or later , puggd Hm1-3 (reclear 55*+) this week and was done rlly quick g1 1tap g2 2tap g3 2tap. I wonder how low the clear rate wouldve been with the real version ☠
