If I understand correctly it is still valid, you are getting some mats discount now and they said that they will unlock next reset express so you can put it on any character up to 1620. So basically pushing one char now cheaper (even when not as cheap as it should be because AGS is BS company) and then next week second also cheaper is still valid strategy.

Safest route is to keep at 1580 and not waste any more gold/mats/orehas to push beyond. The 1580 box gives you akkan gear which auto gives you 1585 anyways. Can just have that character chill to do sonavel and slowly push to 1600 later while you then move the express to a 1600+ to get another 1620

could you elaborate how good the mats for after 1600 are? Is it easy to push another alt from 1600 to 1620 or still a lot of investment?

@@CreamAndLight it's still going to a lot of investment since it's not cheap at that range, but you get a different kind of end game honing book. Our current highest level of honing book that ups the chances of your hones at around 500-600 gold each, we get a lot of those post 1600 in the hyper express. Not only that, but they double the extra success rate compared to the ones we actually have in game.

During Breaker release, spent 100k pushed from 1520 to 1600 very easy. This patch, spent 120k only went from 1520 to 1570, pity over 20 times. Realized something is super off on the horning rate then I stopped. Hard earning gold gone for nothing.

That last point, about the wording, is the exact reason why i will stop honing one hone before 1600, to make sure i can get it on another 1600+, aint no way im trusting AGS not to mess something up

I keep getting close to 80 to 100% artisan energy for honing. This is way different compared to the previous super express. It takes me 12+ taps per piece to tier up. I pity 4 pieces and I'm only 1540

Thanks for the information. I am probably going to hone one character to 1600 using all of the event mats along the way, but not take the final box. And then next week, I will choose a second 1540 character that I have a ton of mats sitting on already, use the express on them and then take the 1600 box on them.

Just finished the video now and i truly appreciacte you making the observation about the wording COLLECTED vs claimed. Everyone just maxes out their character first day and claims everything. I have the box/pouch which could be very useful to a second character but its BOUND. They really need to figure this out.

Let me give you my experience as returnee who hasnt played for a year and before that had 1000h. I had 4 pieces at 13 and two at 14. I pitied 4 or 5 times and had to click on the items till 80%. Also had 2 one clicks bit never the less. Than tried quality upgrade as i had these new stones it was a hot mess. So I'm instantly turned off again and reminded of some of the reasons why i left.

Returning player here, I jumped back in and used the pass to bring my character to 1450, But honng this gear to anything seems near impossible is their another way of getting these Matts other than the 2 chaos dungeons and one raid I'm allowed to do per day?

So to better understand the situation: if im a veteran player who want to use the new powerpass+mokoko on a new player - if i reach 1600 and not pass that + not claiming the reward, after wednesday maintenance when they fix it i can choose another new character to put the mokoko express on and raising him as well to 1600 + claim the rewards on him?

Or do they mean, that your honing chance can get up higher by failing? For example if u start with 5% and fail 10 times your chance will stop rising at 10%. But with buff it maybe goes up to 15%. Did u also compare a mokoko event char with a char without mokoko express after taping one time? To check if artisan energy fills up faster or honing rate rises faster?

AGS should give us another mokoko express because it is their fault and almost everyone used it already and honed at least 1600 (spent 60k and up). They cannot just refund us simply because some people used a lot of gold already and mats. So it would be better to give us a new express.

even if you did hone to 1600, when (if) they fix the honing rates, you can still move the express to another character and benefit from the rate up. if you have unbound mats and/or spare boxes this change is still pretty big (:

One thing to consider: You are comparing the buff between express characters and non express characters. Maybe the issues is that non express characters are ALSO getting the honing buff from the event by mistake.

honed my alt to 1590 with express but only claimed 1520, 1540, and 1580 rewards, is it better to move it to my 1612 main (wasting 1550-1570 rewards, purple elixir and weapon books) or to my other 1540 alt to hone to 1600 (wasting 1610-1620 box and main takes longer to reach 1620)

@@izzyaf5584 from the recent announcement, after july 24 maintenance everyone is allowed to swap express once regardless whether we have honed on our current one, but wouldnt be allowed to claim the rewards again

If ur pushing it to 1619 might aswell push to 1620 and do voldis hm and proper elixers. That won't change anything. And after reset swap to a 1520 so it gets the honing buffs but no mats from the express

The buff itself is up to 1600 and after 1600 u will get a box with honing books and mats to help you up to 1620
