Thank you for breaking this down in a way beginners can understand! I just picked up the minilab 3 to try to get into music making as a hobby so I have no idea what I'm doing. I watched so many other videos and still had no idea how to use this thing. This is the only video I found that broke things down enough that I can actually understand what this device is capable of. Awesome job!

so In have a lot of Kontakt instruments, and use love, but I do plan on getting the arturia bundle at some point and the minilab looks like a better fit. My question is how does the minilab handle Kontakt and other 3rd party plugins?

I'm near to buy a minilab 3. Thinking of it because its honest, with its well thought all in one motivations to be. But I'm also intrigued by the idea of KS37 for to use two hands. Definelly I hope more in a 37minikey version of the minilab 3, with pads layered and aftertouch. So I'm selling my otherbrand 49 keys to get two minikeys keyboards of Arturia hoping they can work in combo if ruted well throu a midisplitter. Maybe tricky but the good part is that I can always take one of the two and go around with it to play it as an extention of my hardware based setup, thanks to its user programs that keystep37 has not.

Thank you very much for producing this very informative video. I have the Yamaha DGX670 88 keys which I have setup as a Master MIDI Controller but unfortunately it lacks an Arpeggiator or Modulation Wheel thus I would like to be able to access those Mini Lab 3 features while playing the DGX670 keyboard. I also have the Arturia Mini Lab 3 and the Yamaha DGX670 connected via USB to my laptop computer and I would like to be able to press keys and play notes on my DGX670 keyboard and have those notes fed to the Mini Lab 3 Arpeggiator but I have not been able to figure out how to set this up in the Mini Lab 3 or know if this is even possible? Your help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Absolutely brilliant tutorial video. Question regarding the user programs, i have just bought this and am trying out Presonus studio 0ne 7. Would i use the user program feature to make up a program for studio one as it isnt a DAW that is associated with the minilab 3? Thank you so much for the info, Bob

Thanks for this. How do you get the knobs and faders to change midi channel? When I switch to any of the 16 channels the keyboard switches channel but the knobs and faders stay on channel 1. This is super annoying because I want to switch between multiple Arturia soft synths in my DAW.

Hi, thank you for this video! Whenever I press and hold a note on the keyboard, the sound will come out as if I am constantly playing the same note (as if you were pressing up and down the piano key instead of simply holding a note). How do I make it work normally?

I'm unable to change color, it doesn't let me save on midi control center. A window shows up saying something like: "The current template has been modified. Do you want to save it? Please note the device is connected but not synchronized. Press "store" to send edits to device." I have no idea what the store button is. It doesn't give me the option to save because the button is unclickable. I can only press on cancel or continue without saving. Also in midi controller center i cannot click on user remplates.
