All car receivers are like that; you need to get a wire harness adapter for the type of car you have. You just follow the color chart diagram that comes with the adapter and match it with the one that comes with the receiver.

Was just about to say this. I just put one of these in my truck, but it's old, and someone had previously cut out (butchered) the factory harness. So I just ran all the power and 4 speaker wires from scratch.

you know nothing about radio installs! do not never ever cut your factory harness. get the wiring kit that fits your car, connect that kit to the pigtail set that came with the radio. then its plug and play
