cannot stop listening to this lately, completely wicked progressions and i love how considered everything appears to be. i get the DSO comparisons but this is definitely headed toward a different part of the compass! if only all EPs were this tight...

Super haunting but it was well done. I liked when the double pedals came in and it was a huge wave of noise. Intense for sure and nobody knows who these guys are either.

Kendo Ish Hey dude its me again...haha. I'm here checking out this awesome band that you recommended to me in the Nile comment section. I like what I am hearing so far and I must say that Canada has really put out some quality metal over the years. I'm definitely adding this to my vast KZbin playlist as well as their other album. Thanks again.

Does anyone know if the intro song is by the band or a recording of a choir or something? That is some of the most unique and ethereal harmony i have ever heard.

Don't see how it could hurt!

@kendoish25047 жыл бұрын
qgloafhun Got nothing. I have searched online trying to find anything about this intro and haven't found crap. The only thing i think i know about it is that it sounds like they are singing in Latin. I could be totally wrong but i think i can hear Latin words in there. This obviously doesn't tell us a damn thing about who performed this though. The search continues i guess.
@fuqface20077 жыл бұрын
they're not singing in latin, i can make out parts of it by listening at different volumes but it's a real struggle. Give 3:06 a shot, "my father, died of cancer in your eyes" "and i, was born with no feelings" "now we can see, please let it ...... .. go to the raven?" at 5:36 "you were the love of my life.. now i suffer into .... ... .. this is .. .. i killed everyone.. and it's all because of you" 8:55 "deafening children .. .." 9:23 "tearing the black curtains with.. .... .... .. trying to find a crack of light in a soulless world" 11:50 "she only speaks, when words are gone. she gives me the gift, of turning lies into truth. she's unstoppable. so .. ... i listen to the river, it gives me instructions. how to forget the pain, i sink to the bottom. it carries my body, back to the ocean. To leave me for 10 thousand years, of failure." I don't really know how to get anything more out of this album, I got a few things out of Sacred White Noise but I don't really have the proper tools to extract the language from the massive amount of distortion surrounding most of it. But it sounds like this album is some fucking crazy lost romance. The parts I extracted from SWN are more abstract in context..

We meant only the actual singing parts. The harsh vocals are definitely in English.
