My husband and I have been together for 4 years, married for 2, and we just had our firstborn 3 months ago. Our biggest challenge thus far was parenting through lack of sleep and lack of pregnancy hormones for myself. The first two weeks was our biggest struggle, with me wanting to just run away from our marriage, but we fought through with tears, hugs, and comfort. COVID kept families and friends away, which surprisingly allowed us to learn together, just the two of us, without outside influences. I'm so grateful we fought through those first two weeks because our marriage and friendship is so much better now, and we have a beautiful, healthy baby.

You had me rolling in the aisles with the bodily function skit! I need to laugh more. My wonderful wife has been kept from me by her pastor and his wife who are in charge of a 7 member cultish church, in a 2 + year "no contact" separation for none of the 5 typical issues which would necessitate a separation. It's been a great time of growing closer to the Lord, his words, and tons of friends and counselors who are fighting for our marriage! Just hoping it ends soon as I ready to grow back together. She's unfortunately resisted Bible study and prayer with me over the past 5-7 years since becoming involved with this spiritually abusive situation. Thanks for your prayers! You and Jimmy are "the BOMB!!" God bless! In the love and grace of Jesus. C

If a person is 'nagging' or repeatedly asking it's you have promised to do something or agreed you would stop doing something and hasn't kept their word.

Moral of the story, just be willing to fart in front of your spouse and it will improve your marriage. 😂

This is so hard. My husband is not all in, and he doesn’t see a problem with that. There is nothing I can do or say to change his mind.

As a man, I enjoy being all in. It is just better that way. Too much friction between the two is not good.

I fought for a spouse (who I later found out was cheating) for a long year. Being All In does have to be a joint effort at some point, right?? Discuss being All In early..please!!

Why is it that we hear this and this is what I’m saying we need to do and my wife says no and I’m always the one that’s out of line for it. I say we should be working towards being best friends and her and her dad say no way we’re best friends. Etc ,etc. what is going on that I’m out of line for having what you call healthy needs? At the 9 minute mark you hit the nail on the head. She’s still hanging onto being daddy’s girl and there is no room for us. I had an issue that I told him she’s my wife and that’s our decision and he said no she’s my daughter. The pastor told me she’s his married daughter and he should learn the difference, but I’m the toxic one to our marriage. Seriously what the heck is going on? I feel like I’m living an episode of the twighlight zone.
