Engaging that pedal is like putting rocket fuel to your car! Great demo Jon and comprehensive explanation about what it does. Actually A month or so I was asking at my local shop about it and the sales guy didn't know the difference between this model, the dark RC and the Super Clean / Super Sweet little brothers. I walked with the Super Clean, that perhaps is half of what this RC pedal offers, still a fantastic device that improves the tones so much. It does wonders to your PRS. Cheers ✌️😃👍🎸

Great demo. I agree with you. After a couple of hours messing with one today, I find I prefer it stacked in to a light gain OD like my JHS V3 Morning Glory (the lower gain earlier model) or the Greer Lightspeed or even the Hudson Broadcast. I didn't really need the 1st gain stage as I prefer the transparent drives for a "enhanced base tone" but one cool thing I noticed is that you can preload the 2nd gain stage, while the pedal is still bypassed, meaning you only need to press one button to go straight to gain 2. Good pedal for $100 (used). I much prefer to boost my base tone than to stack it in to a mid heavy screamer or klon style pedal as a 2nd gain stage. This pedal does that perfectly imho. EQ's at noon (off), volume unity, gain 8-9 o'clock. Simple, effective..

LOVE Xotic stuff. If you just want the BEST clean before your rig, pick up a Xotic Super Clean. We've run them all and that clean just stays out of the way.

@@JonIsJustTooLoud yes, but after I saw this guy from Exotic, from California, looking like a fck pimp, in this open shirt..I decided NOT to mye from them....man, this guy turn me off, just my his attitude . I have a SUhr Badger and a SUhr s3, with a 1981 Tube Screamer.......I need a box that DONT color any sound, just a little extra, woith no coloring sound .
