I hear you. I contacted the support and they made it on purpose to avoid the click noise when engaging, but made things worse IMHO. You can get rid of the audio gap by removing a capacitor inside, if you feel you can do that. I didn't eventually, but the audio gap really annoys me.

Do you guys reckon this will work with fuzz just as well as the XW-1?

Just got one and right away it doesn't work well infront of my Lizard Queen fuzz. Not a problem since I found the fuzz first method suits me just fine. I do enjoy the sound and feel of the effect though. Close enough to my Budda Wah!

@xderiwx In my experience, the XW-2 does not work well in front of a fuzz pedal. The XW-1 supposedly doesn't have this problem as it's designed to work in front of a fuzz pedal.
