@HalfBurntOut The unit has a built in microphone. Your phone never has to leave your pocket to make or receive calls. I have been on both ends of the call from this unit. Road noise from your car will determine how well the person you are calling can hear you....you will have no problem hearing them at all.

Don't know if this question has been answered already. .but this unit is AUX compatible though it does not say so on the box or manual. You simply just have to buy a Red/White Audio cord with the standard headphone jack at the end of the cord. (Available at Walmart or any other store in the electronics) But yeah. .plug those wires to the Red/White wires in the back of the unit. .and run the wires out to the front just like how you do for the USB cord. And there you go. .BAM! I feel smart haha

@Kingc27 I just drag and drop mp3 files into an artist folder/album folder on the usb drive...then I go through the sources on the radio til it brings up the usb source. It will automatically start playing a file on its own. You then just go back to the root folder and select the file or folder you want and then select the song or video.

Just a little follow up. Ive been messing with photos and slide shows through the usb. It is pretty nice that you can load the usb card up with hundreds of photos and it will display a slide show while you are listening to music at the same time...thought it was pretty cool.

@bigjfoot Hey, I havent converted any videos in a while because our car has been out of commission. I used the program pazera. It has a few options for converting to different formats. I remember i just tried converting a couple videos til I found the format it liked. Its really simple and works great.

@goshgo27 Your guess is as good as mine on the clock issue. I have not looked into it too much, and have read that other people complain about the same issue. As far as the flicker... I would check your ground. The unit has 2 separate grounds. one goes to the factory harness and the other should be grounded somewhere to the chassis. Im guessing you put both grounds to the same factory harness wire? Lemme know.

@beich70 I have not had any problems with skipping, video or audio wise. not sure if it has an actual anti skip feature.

@HateCopyright20 Great! the video must be in the correct format for it to play. I noticed its a little picky with what video types it will play. I downloaded a free program that converts video and I use it for all videos I have now What isnt working with the usb? The easiest and fastest way to go to usb mode is turn on the radio, then plug in the usb card. The radio will automatically go to usb mode. You can use the source button as well to circulate through the modes til you get to usb as well.

@HumbledBass it has a cable from the back for aux. you can run it wherever you want...nice feature cause I hate the look of a headphone jack plugged into a car radio... looks trashy.

@lauramidd0809 Install went fine. Got it all in there and fired it up. The unit is alright. I'm pretty happy with it. I would be more apt to say "you get what you pay for" than "check out my bad ass stereo".. but it does what it says. few little glitches here and there though. if it is muted and you fold the screen then it comes unmuted.. little things like that. still, good unit for the price

I brought my radio because of your video and I'm extremely happy with my radio....Thank u bro. What file extension do you use to play videos? I have an XO Vision double din radio without BT and regular DVDs play fine but I've tried different file extensions and to no luck.

@udz2002 I believe if you touch the screen anywhere it will pop up stop. forward. reverse...etc Hit stop and it will take you to your root folder

@HateCopyright20 I usually convert to divx the program I use is pazera. Its free, easy and fast. Your ipod will not work through usb.

I liked your video an lot. I got the DP Video one with out blue tooth. It was cheap with warrenty 200 not bad. Doesn't sound that bad . I'm coming from an Avic-n2

Great video! Quick question... I am looking into buying a similar XO Vision unit so I assume the interfaces/operating systems are similar. My question is, does this have a screen where it displays the clock at all, so I can see what time it is while driving?

I dont think there is anyway to change the screen from the phone dialing screen. I havent messed around with that too much though... Crazy that you live here in Portland, such a small town.

what I want to know is how to get the clock on the display I can set my clock but i cant figure out how to make it show up on the display I have the same one with back up camera couldnt get the back up rca to work so i used the aux in and it works great im actually happy with the unit for short money u cant complain much

@TheBLACKKING25 I installed the unit myself. It can be quite easy to do but that really depends on the vehicle you have. Im not too sure what you will pay now days to have a unit professionally installed. If you do a little research you will likely find that you can do it yourself, learn something new and save some money all at the same time... let me know how it works out for you.

A few questions, if it is ipod ready...well how do i hook up my ipod because we know it doesnt work through the usb. Which brings me to my second question, where is the aux input? Ive had this for a couple months now and i really miss listening to my ipod in the car.

Best Buy can do it, however I would suggest looking for a local mom and pop type shop to install it for you if you cant do it yourself....best buy is a joke. they charge way to much and i have seen way to many horrible installs by them. Google it, and I bet you'll find that you can do it yourself

iv had this for a week and i am tired of it, The screen rattles when driving if its not in a different screen position.. The SD card reading is Slooooow Touch screen can be unresponsive at times.

I HATE... HATE... HAAATE that the Car Stereo Market is so Under developed. I feel like with Things like the iPhone 11 & All the Galaxy Phones, that we should have better Touch Screen Stereos. I feel like I have to sacrifice either; Quality for Beauty or a Beautiful Interface for Better Quality... It's Always 1 or Another... If I want a Beautiful Interface I have to spend $700 On a Pioneer with No Video capabilities. If I want Video capabilities I have to buy a Vision XO with a Interface that looks like it came out in the early 90's.... This is B.S in my Opinion. (Possibly a Chinese Manufacturer would do the trick?)
