Waiting for my Deus II to arrive ... after using the Nox for so long, I'm thinking it's going to be a challenge to learn this new detector. I appreciate your expertise and willingness to share your knowledge. You're definitely a big help to all newbies =)

I used the Nox for a couple years. I just got my Deus 2 on Friday. So far the best advice I can give is to match up one of the stock programs that fit your detecting style. Then save it in custom programs and slowly tune it to your liking. I would recommend only changing one setting at a time so you can compare the differences. You'll be used to the menu layout in no time😁😁😁

Same boat. The trickiest thing I’ve encountered so far and this has been on paystreaks channel is the the silencer resets to 2 every time you change reactivity…. I think lol

hi paystreak yes the old style aluminum bottle cap are the ones that get me the new ones are no problem when you are hunting $1 and $2 coins they come up the same number and sound 72 73 sounds great

Try it on a Roman Fibular with it's pin still attached. Very much the same.... 👍

Any chance to reject bottle caps in square tones? Or is it much harder?

Square full tones it is almost impossible to reject them. Square/full tones is not a great combination with the Deus 2. Square/pitch tones is amazing

I don't understand why these companies don't make Concentric coils for these newer machines as an option to buy,, You go over every one of those bottle caps with a Concentric coil and it will discriminate them out most of them anyways,, Seems like Concentric coils are a thing of past these days with these companies,,,

How does the botle caps sound running 81khz on Deus1?

They scream high tone. The crackling is very loud on bottlecaps in higher frequencies. Black X35 coils reject them at lower frequencies in full tones better than higher frequencies.

So you are trying to tell me that the deus 2 is worse than the deus 1 in identifing bottle caps LMAO. Learn the deus 2. It works really well.

Sorry to say but Paystreak is one of the most experienced detectorists on youtube if anything hes obsessed so to tell him to learn the machine is highly insulting and just shows how much of a idiot you are!.

Actually he's not saying that at all. He is showing you all characteristics of both machines and the pros and cons of different settings. Don't jump to such a simple minded conclusion.
