Another great video, thank you Gary! Many treasure hunters use DEUS in freshwater, I think this is a popular machine for hunting water in freshwater. beaches. Very good for finding small gold objects and chains. In many cases, it is difficult to adjust the soil balance or make the machine less noisy in places with high mineral content. There is where mud is volcanic or the iron content is very high. The machine behaves differently in the water than on the shore, whether it's wet sand. I think many would be very happy with a video about freshwater hunting.:)

​@@The-skillschool I'm sure Deus is one of the champions among the freshwater treasure hunters. I watched a lot of your videos on KZbin and practiced what I saw there. Under difficult conditions such as water plus mineral soil. The way of ground balancing can be the key. The weak and subtle signals are hard to detect. Silencing the machine and reducing noise increases the chance to discover what others don't know. DEUS with the HF coil is one of the best weapons to discover chains and small gold objects. I don't know if I can ask you to use Deust in freshwater?

I recently hunted the beach at Galveston Texas. I used the wet sand program and changed nothing! I found 2 silver rings, a silver necklace, 8 quarters, 12 dimes, 4 nickels and 36 cents. A couple of hotwheels cars and Rayban sunglasses. I was amazed at how well it did!

Hi, what’s the best way to set Deus Lite I don’t have remote control Box. I use only small ws4 headphones and hf 9inch coil, I do have x35 11inch coil as well. Will be very grateful for any tips and tricks thanks.

Any program of your choice will work on dry sand, the wet sand needs an advanced program.

Great video for salt water beaches Gary, but I only have fresh water where I am. Have you any tips, tricks or practice for that matter on fresh water beaches? I typically run basic, full tones and XY screen everywhere as I’m quite comfortable with that, but I’m sure I can get more out of the Deus with a bit of guidance. 👍

Hi Paul Perhaps try using the HOT program #9 and turn the discrimination up to +5, then you can start lowering it until you are comfortable with the feedback. Keep up the good work. G

Great video Gary well done ! How deep does the GOLD WET BEACH program go , if compaired with the wet beach prog. Althought i'm running TX power at 2 . My deepest ring was 15 cm on wet beaches . I also and mainly onvthe wet beaches use a Nox 800 . And found rings much deeper..inland xp deus is still the best detector out there periode. But love to try these setting to compacte with nox. It won't be as good as a equinox in the wet sand mate unfortunately lacks depth deus is a great land machine I have a deus and a nox the nox does destroy the deus at any beach.

Hey Gary thanks for the video. I am running version 4.1 and when I go to sens to reduce the setting to 90 I do not have the option to enter into expert to turn the tx down to 1 tried it anyways but got long sweeping false signaling. can you help me out? Thank you for any info you can give me.

2 things spring to mind👍 Make sure your frequency offset is on the middle position. Also remember HF coils do not have a TX gain option. The long noise sounds like : Reactivity to low Ground balance wrong or in tracking mode. 88-90 is a safe bet

I am sooooo frustrated with beach hunting. Doesn’t matter wet or dry beach programs I only hear iron and bottle tops. We make frequent trips to beaches and I’ve yet to find anything. However others with cheaper detectors are pulling out rings. I’m going to try your program and try the beach one more time before I quit.

I use the Deus on Devon beaches, I use the wet beach pre set program for both the wet and dry sand. Searching the dry sand is a great experience as the deus is very quiet until it finds a target, but on the wet sand, I can’t lower the chatter. It works on the wet sand, don’t get me wrong, but the noise is aggravating compared to using it on the dry sand. I’ll try this setting and see how I go. Many thanks

Yes it should be fine, just remember to turn the TX power down to 1 and perhaps sensitivity at 86

Simply couldn't calm the machine down with the Gold Field settings using the HF 9" coil - having trouble finding a stable GB number. Funny how you sometimes don't really trust the default programs :) - oh well - no. 7 worked smoothly and one happy couple will receive the lost wedding ring tomorrow. PS - what a shame you are not able to come to Denmark on August 1st as planned due to the UK restrictions :( would have enjoyed meeting you in person. Next year perhaps? Have a great summer and happy hunting ;)
