XP Deus top tips | graphic screens hidden features

I haven't had the Deus very long...and had been curious about it foe a number of years until I finally purchased one. Gary, I personally want to thank you for all of your videos so far I have watched quite a few of them and I feel almost like I may go bonkers...but that said. There is so much you can do with this machine or so little....and you tell about all of what you can do, or just tune to a program and go. That is what is so sweet about this machine. Can turn on and go in so many modes and yet tweak anything if this or that...I figure if you read this you know what I am talking about. There is so much more to this machine than I EVER thought there was at first. It seemed like there were some things that can be changed her or there as most high end detectors, but there is so much more . The only thing I can honestly say that I don't like about this machine is that the bottle caps ring in so high. Where all of my Minelabs in the past I would pull maybe one or two of them...and those where usually right on the surface. I scrub the surface with my coils so that's the reason for that. Don't want to notch that high signal out but why??? Do those ring in so high when they are of the iron type metal. I just don't understand. Other than that I love this machine and never thought I would say that about any machine other than my CTX 3030.

Thank you. I am very new. I find myself switching to the xy to learn more about the target. Good to know that I can change the graphics. Most of the people that I try to learn from seem to ignore the xy. I appreciate all that you have to teach.

Brilliant video, thank you Gary learnt a lot from you, only been doing metal detecting 7 week now started with vanquish 340 (great all round machine cant fault it as a starter), but then i upgraded to a XP DEUS after loving metal detecting so much, got it few days ago and your videos really helped me soooo much i was abit 🤔💭 at first but then soon got used to it thanks to you and crew, iv only used it twice and only on basic 1 mode both times , the second time i used it i upped the discrimination to 44 and got my first coins one is a Irish farthing 1950s was well happy 😁 the other not been identified yet its really worn,.. the machine is a beast very happy with it 😁🤙🤙🤙

Hi Gary! 😎Thanks as always for your videos. I have had the ORX for 1 year. Currently, I already have DEUS 5.21. (2 weeks ago🤩) After looking at your explanations in this video, the Zoom option is not clear to me. I only speak Spanish🙃, and I always use the subtitles of that language. But apparently, when you explain about the Zoom, the translator of the subtitles is not very accurate. Could you reiterate this explanation of that option? . In some next video, I mean. Thank you. Do you have any hot tips for us deus light users. Apart from buy a remote. I have had mine about 18 months now and had some good results. But is there any tips for improvement. Im not the brightest bulb in the lamp but willing to try. Thanks for all your time and effort. 🐝😷

hanks for the top tips Gary , I appear to have lost the ground I D number from my screen when attached to the coil ? If i am not in location distance from the coil the numbers appear ass normal usually at 90 Can you tell me what the problem is please . Thanks

You can use the zoom method to see what direction the EMI is coming from. Very handy if you are getting false signals through EMI.

EMI stands for electromagnetic interference, and is usually caused by a high power source........like overhead wires, other detectors and sometimes even your mobile phone. Try changing the frequency on your Deus to eliminate the EMI, possibly lower your TX gain or even adjust your sensitivity. If it’s another detectorist that’s causing you problems, have them change their settings. I hope that helps. 👍

Hello again Gary , I have not received a replete my query regarding loss of ground id number from my screen when attached to the coil ? If i am not within range of the coil when turning on the deus the ground balance remains at 90 . i have also noticed that the machine sometimes tracks when using in the field with the numbers 73 - 75 appearing spasmodically I would very much appreciate it if you could provide me with an explanation or remedy for this situation ,Thanks Bandidoripp

Ive only been out once since i got my deus 1 chirstmas 2023, yesterday, and i couldnt find an audio volume settig, so i just clipped the remote on my camera strap so the camera could hear the tones loud and clear, so i havnt used any graphics yet, but the downside to this is i dont know the tones yet, so i dug everything But did dighing everything ever pay off yesterday, i found 2 sterling silver rings, and a tungsten carvode ring, which i think was a larger mans wedding ring, because i am larger and its the only ring ive found that fits me 😂 I also found a piece of junk jewelry, a blinger capital T letter, and a couple links of a iron chain in the same hole So i had a good first day with the deus, hopefully its a sign of things to come, ive been in that same field a dozen times with the legend, so its even possible i swung over those rings before and missed them
