Your years of knowledge shows , most of them scratchy signals wont be dug by many detectorists, i used the orginal goldmaxx, not the power bug alot of top hammerds on walk away signals, mainly on sites with grate levels of ground minerals, used the gmp but was not a patch on the original, the tones were the best on any detector i have ever used, thanks for sharing and best of luck in the future
@The-skillschool3 жыл бұрын
Agreed Stuart the original Goldmaxx was and still is a top detector.

I have a quiet field in town that I have hunted many times. Got some great stuff from that field, but the signals have petered out. Most of the time the shovel is on my shoulder. I'm going to take your advice and give it a try with the changes you have suggested. Gold max power and hot programs,full tones. Thanks again for a great video!!

Cheers Gary ..don't matter that ya didn't find, that's true detecting for you....I use hot permanently at reactivity 4 audio response 5 and send 97 with 9 inch HF on my land, it really brings the tinyist of squeaks also deep targets are a grunt above iron tone and some turn into super finds. Reep from the deep!!

Great Video again. Honestly I made so many Tests over they years I own the Deus now. Deus Fast ist the best Programm for the Areas I walk on. Hot to noisy and GMP not with a clear Tone sometimes. My biggest wish would be a 28" HF Coil ☺

I like Deus fast on 2 tones. Thanks for your thoughts

I made this exact programme a few weeks back trying to emulate the equinox, audio 5 reac at 2 and sens at 96, only problem is it's noisy so wears thin after a while, but my go to👍
@The-skillschool3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Matthew, Equinox has very little audio colour, you may have wanted to try audio response a little higher and reactivity 3.

For me, your videos are great. I hear the signal.. I get your opinion about the signal and I learn a lot about the xp. How do you react in different situations. Only one I miss sometimes is that I can't see the screen from the Deus. Sorry for my bad eng😁 Hope you understand me a bit

Gary you’ve previously suggested to me that the Pitch programme would still be good for us Lite users but how do we avoid digging small iron without referring to the numbers and lines the remote would give us? I’m not converting to the dark side btw the Lite works just fine for me! All the best, Alexander
@The-skillschool3 жыл бұрын
Hi Alexander The pitch program has a fantastic audio reference on iron. If you are new to the pitch it may be worth using the factory default program #4. Then go for the pitch 101 program when you are confident. Listen out for the smooth constant signals within stutter.👍 Thanks for your question.
@HolzHammerSagas3 жыл бұрын
@@The-skillschool brilliant thank you very much for that I’m looking forward to trying it and getting me ears into a new regime! I really like the difference in tone and sound different targets give the ears with the deus - thanks for taking the time - yours, Alexander

Do you ever use the Goldfields program in those areas? I find it the most powerful program using the xy screen here in Australia

Yes sometimes I do, it's a powerful program.
@keithr.47353 жыл бұрын
good info, thank you but I have a question about increasing depth by using the hot program and reducing the frequency to below 4 . going into sensitivity and using the boost mode. increase depth also correct? but will I lose the smaller targets under the coil? thanks in advance
@The-skillschool3 жыл бұрын
Yes the lower frequency can be less responsive to the low conductive items.

Gary how do you get rid of constant chatter just recently my Xp deus with x35 coil is very erratic nothing I do seems to rectify the problem I need help hope you can give me some solutions it is only a year since I purchased it
@The-skillschool3 жыл бұрын
If it chatters in factory default programs. Change frequency just in case it is EMI. Failing that, get it checked out under warranty John
