SOOOO helpful! I installed these a few weeks ago but was struggling to get my Chucks on. Luckily I'd left more than a few inches of slack at the ends. Watched this and holy crap they're even more comfortable than before. Also, I didn't burn my damn house down melting those edges that had started to fray. I wear them so the clip is insdiry shoe without the end protectors. Wished I'd watched this first! If you wear them like I do, I'd suggest doing the opposite installation of the clip so the end tucks inside more easily. Thanks again!

I am having hip replacement surgery in a few days. One suggestion for after surgery was to get this type of shoelaces to be able to slide on my shoes. To be honest my shoes are very stable and comfortable but the shoe laces have to be double knotted or they come undone. I got the XPand shoelaces and the instructions provided didn’t help at all. Usually I can figure things out on my own but it didn’t work. Searched for a video on how to do it and found your video. Thank you so much! Very helpful and it is done. Appreciate the confirmation from you that these are good. Again, thank you!!!

@@jilltwohey5935 yes I do have these and they have been such a big help. I had put them on before leaving for surgery and got a extra long handled shoehorn and it is perfect.

Well Done presentation. Agree with another commenter- you should contact Xpand to see if they’d pay or license your presentation. You took Extra Time and Effort to discuss how ‘those little plastic pieces’ integrate into the lacing System. I’ve been using Xpand for 5+ years on shoes (and now boots).

I put them on my puma shoes, my question and can I wash the shoes in the washing machine with all the laces and clips inserted?

Couldnt ypu just tie them like normal laces, double knot them, and have them still slip on while looking like normal laces?

Your lace "anchor" should be SNUG up against your shoe not 1/4" away from shoe. You can leave additional length, for adjustments... before snapping on the "lace tab" Watch an official XPAND lace video you will see the difference

I was very skeptical about the shoe laces. But when I put them on my run/walk shoes they exceeded my expectations. My only issue is the heavy end caps tend to flop around too much. I have tried sliding them under the loops in The crisscross above the tongue. However, they always seem to break loose and start flopping around. Minor inconvenience. Otherwise, very good investment…
