Hi xPetu big fan here. I´m a master Shen EUW player and I´ve been testing some builds. This one is really big: - Gauntlet 1st (cheap, tankiness, little wave clear). - Sundered sky (op item, healing, little wave clear again). - Bamis (you decide the upgrade, the idea is being tanky and spam sundered sky). - From here you can go jakso, unending despair or kaenic. I know there is no titanic hydra here but that money it´s worth with those tanky and healing items. Greetings, chief.

What if you would have the power of regular Shen but as a support? Shen Supp - Hidden Carry (I saw it on one of the pro plays and gave it a shot....loved it immediately) Strong, tanky, with good clear and dueling power. Able to fight, tank and engage. Botlaners usually have no idea how to play against Shen, or how bad it can be when they will be taunted under our turret. Plus, you have twice as many guys to taunt and kill :D This build is strong from lvl 1. Spells: Ignite Flash Runes: Hail of Blades Cheap Shot Zombie Ward Ultimate Hunter Hextech flashtraption Cosmic insight Core Items: Supp item -> Bloodsong Boots (Lucidity/Merc/Plated) Titanic Hydra (start with Tunneler) Hollow Radiance Next items depends on the situation - usually going with Thornmail if their team is AD heavy or Kaenic Rookern - when they are mostly AP. First upgrade boots (usually Lucidity, but I also pick other boots when the enemy is heavy ad/cc) - as you have to be mobile and be able to cast abilities fast Then build Hydra starting with Tunneller You should have Bloodsong at this stage. You are not a regular sup - you can farm and fight on your own.

I think Shen is a pretty good fit for the jungle. Except for the clear speed, which you can fix with tiamat rush. But he has CC, burst and a global counter-gank ult. I just feel Shen top loses so much resources by having to ult away from lane, and besides that he is a pretty weak laner. I know Petu makes it seems otherwise but Shen usually does not win lane often. Would love to see you try Shen jungle this season sometime!

As you mentioned about Krakenslayer's passive being changed to flat damage based on level, rather than 65% AD and 60% AP, I was very surprised to hear that this would benefit a tank champion. However, as an ADC main, this is absolutely a nerf (and very annoying to be very honest, as AP is very bursty right now and lethality was buffed to flat penetration; so everything that kills you as an ADC can kill you even easier now). Anyways, as I was saying, this is a nerf to ADC's because they specialize in building AD, so having Krakenslayer's passive based on % AD is very beneficial to an ADC. Another very crucial way to look at this: the fact that it is based on level, now creates an imbalance towards bot laners who build this item. Imagine a mid lane Yasuo building Krakenslayer, who is 2 levels above you at all times during the game; you as an ADC are now at a disadvantage. It's very disappointing as this item is meant to be for Marksmen. And to be honest, as a Varus main, I am even more sad at this nerf because with the 60% AP, I could use the bursty new AP items in a hybrid build :D (but now I am a little forced to avoid building Krakenslayer and take Blade of the Ruined King instead). And for anyone interested, in my hybrid build, I had the 2nd Krakenslayer proc (6 auto attacks) doing over 1,000 damage. Imagine that. 6 autos, 1k bonus damage. Insane. Gotta find some new technology now.

Petu, sir, honestly, I doubt so much about this idea the moment I saw the Yone mashup. I hate that champ so much, and seeing how the bastard eats the waves in 2 seconds almost made me lose hope, but then when you complete de kraken slayer and with a third basic you delete a quarter of his health, man that got me excited, not to say horny.
