CL40 uses Micron IC. If you can get the CL30/32

I've got one coming up actually, a high bin kit at about ~ $280 USD. My CPUs however have very weak IMC's so 8400 is the limit for all memory. Here's hoping I can get a hold of a good sample at some point capable of 9000+

So that's the thing, it seems XPG sometimes changes the IC or quality of the IC rather, so while I could go to 7000+ I've heard from others that they were not able to do the same. You using LGA1700 or AM5?

Did you test with Ryzen 7000 CPUs?

Yes I did, 7800X3D to be exact. Behaviour is pretty much the same as with Intel, in as far as frequency and timing limits which are more IC centric than anything else.
