I just got mine a couple days ago! So happy! Thanks for helping me decide on this unit Michael. The wheel for brush sizes was an aha moment when watching your video and it does not disappoint. This is my first drawing tablet outside the iPad Pro and I can’t believe it’s better! Crazy

Omg! Indeed! I've purchase it on pre-sale and it's absolutly wonderful. Every aspect :The rubberized pen, the superfine detail, the color! I've mounted mine in an arm and I had the most ergonómic drawing experience of my life.I absolutly agarre, when they show up the 22 or 24 inch dysplay with this tecnology I'll Buy it. I was working with the artist pro 16 , the first product with the x3 chip, i hace no issues and I'm sure that it will last another 3 years at least. This artist pro 19 looks even better Quality. The experience is exactly like Michael says: it's absolutly delicious to draw and sculpt in it!.

Hi! I just got mine recently; it draws so well, I'm in awe cuz I've ever only drawn on an ipad^^. However, there's a problem that I'm not sure how to fix 😓I connect my tablet to my macbook 14, and whenever I draw on the tablet, the display screen looks...more horizontally stretched? When I drag the drawing tab back to my macbook, the drawings look much more compressed rather than stretched. I haven't found anyone with the same problem, so I'm not sure if it really is one, but I'm hoping to be able to fix it somehow 😭
@MichaelClaridaArts16 күн бұрын
You may need to look at your display settings on your MacBook. I am not sure about anything stretched. You can adjust the resolution and mirror/project settings and scaling as well. Go system settings/display and see what works for you. M

First of all, thank you for this review. I have a question to you concerning your settings: the interface of photoshop seems to be readable. Do you use any scaling in windows like 150 or 200%? I ask because I currently hesitate between this model and the Artist Pro 24 (Gen 2) 165 Hz (I cannot afford the 4k model). Thank you in advance.

@MichaelClaridaArts2 ай бұрын
@@stephensneddon1059 depends if the old one is going bad, your money overflow and whether you want to upgrade. The 16 pro second gen has some worthy upgrades. I like my tech on at least a 3-5 year cycle. Use it for 3 years…consider an upgrade. Otherwise you are chasing the newest latest and greatest. That will get expensive:)

Is the 24 pro any different than this one? I just bought that 24 pro, and not sure whether to return it for this 19 inch one or keep it the 24 pro.
@MichaelClaridaArts4 ай бұрын
The 24” is bigger, has a non laminated 2k screen, quick keys on the left and right, and has a non glare film applied instead of etching on the glass. Additionally, the 24” has 8192 levels of pressure using a pro stylus(no chip in stylus). While it sounds like the 24” comes up short…for a professional it does not. Bigger is always better in my opinion. I use the 24” artist pro every day. It is a work horse. The 19” is epic as well. Just depends on your needs and budget as well as preference. Both are great. M

Hello Michael, I just got this 19" and I am using it on the mac mini pro. It says in the display settings for the OS that the default resolution is 1680 x 1050 but it has an option for the 3840 x 2160. If I switch it to the 3840 the menu bar is way too small and I have increased in the accessibility MacOs settings. It also says if I use a scaled res it may affect performance. What's the best way to fix this? I am connecting through the provided USB-c cable.
@MichaelClaridaArtsАй бұрын
@@kevinevans5782 I am currently also going thru this. I have it set at the 2k level from the machine 2550x1440. When I do the 4k it also makes the icons and menus too small. I am currently reaching out to Xp pen. I did not have this issue on my Mac Studio. It may depend on what port you are using from the mini. May have to use hdmi? I will fiddle with mine using my Mac mini m2. M
@MichaelClaridaArtsАй бұрын
@@kevinevans5782 looks like 4k is HDMI native. I just googled it for my M2 pro mini. The 2023 Mac mini with an M2 Pro chip can support up to three external displays simultaneously. The number of displays supported depends on the resolution and refresh rate of each display: Two displays: Up to 6K resolution at 60 Hz over Thunderbolt and one display up to 4K resolution at 60 Hz over HDMI One display: Up to 8K resolution at 60 Hz or 4K resolution at 240 Hz over HDMI Maybe the m1 is similar

@@MichaelClaridaArts thanks Michael, I tried with hdmi and I get the same issue, I used the 3 in 1 connector . I sent xp-pen a support question about this. So on your Mac Studio you use the 3840 resolution fine with the menu at readable? Thanks

I enjoyed this review immensely but its really hard for me to shake the “Asian knockoff lower quality materials” reputation that many previous iterations from these companies contributed to in years past. I’m very tempted with this one though!

XP Pen is a Japanese company. They got acquired by Ugee Group, as with Xencelabs, so the hq is in China. But their research and development are still done in their respective teams in their countries. WACOM, as with most other products, are manufactured in China. I have the Xp Pen Artist Pro 16 gen 2, and I love it!! The quality is superior to my Cintiq.
