@@geminidream4347 No, we dont build them for people. We were part of the atromech.net group, long time ago. What would be such droids usefull for? For example a central information and service Unit in emerging remote societies like on Tatooine or African deserts, supporting and providing local society with communications, enviroment device management, information storage, independant internet Mesh HUB's. Such droids would be mainly the communication backbone, information storage, system managers inside an African Hut Village.

Give the IA to this droid and I give you the like on your video.
Costs for intricate props like Zoe are hard to work out .... This build took place over about a year, because Master maker only worked on her at the weekend and it was his "hobby" over that year - the components alone cost £1000s, but like all detailed models the time (and skill) it takes cost more than the components. In truth, because this was made as a hobby, we don't have detailed records of the hours worked ... One of the big component costs for these droids is the radio control handset - Master Maker uses one handset and then pairs it to each robot - which reduced the costs of running a family of robots ! Anyway ..... Zoe is an important part of the team here, and even though she can be a bit of a Prima Donna - we can't imagine life without her - we'd never sell her 😀 If you want to see more of our Star Wars droids in actions we have a playlist :-
@@PodpadStudios that seems like alot if money I live in Canada. I cant imagine how long that would take. Looks incredible I totally wish I had the money to make one.
@PodpadStudios3 жыл бұрын
@Maly Kaly it was fun to build. That included all lighting, sound water spray systems, wood, metal, paint (loads of coats for that finish) and radio control equipment..... If you keep accurate costs of EVERYTHING you buy for a project it just mounts up... Obviously you don't have to have it all at the beginning.... and you can use 'found items' which are much cheaper - however that means it usually takes longer to make (while you wait to 'find' the items... for the dome for example we found a lamp shade in Focus DIY (now B&Q) for less than £20 - purchasing moulded shapes like this to order can be very expensive... looking around for them can save loads ... To anyone wanting to start building stuff don't be put off by this ... start on smaller less expensive projects like this one and work your way up ... see from 7:40 onwards about making Game of thrones egg box for under £20 kzbin.info/www/bejne/enKUl6h3f7ymsLM
