I hope JSTN or someone else pops in to show him a few things and hopefully introduce him to some good practice mods so he can familiarize himself with car movement outside of competitive matches (or even just score ball in goal type practice)… I know he’s in the headspace that “if it’s not ranked it doesn’t matter” but some variety and different fun modes will definitely keep him playing for longer and result in a better player… I’m imagining some easy rings maps for aerial control

ADVICE: Stop hyper-focusing on hitting the ball and RATHER FOCUS on being aware of where your opponent is. Sometimes it's better NOT to hit the ball until you get into a better position to hit it. If your opponent is not challenging you, TAKE YOUR TIME. It's better to practice actually hitting the ball where you want it to go than it is to practice hitting it as quickly as you can.
