There's literally people at his age not being able to sleep at night because they need to contemplate being homeless or starving themselves whilst having 2 jobs and he thinks sitting at the computer yapping is harder?

Just got lucky to be born when he was. Dont come here and talk to me about soul sucking you little twerp. Ever tried having to take orders from assholes who are less qualified than you are? Even had to cover for asshole coworkers who only think about themselves and will gladly throw you under the bus to further their own career? He comes from an extremely rich family that worked for one of the richest companies in Turkey. He's NEVER, NOT ONCE in his entire life, needed more money in his life ever. His family emigrated to America (more proof that he's filthy rich. how many people can just leave Turkey and be an American citizen legally?), where his uncle gave him a job at The Young Turks (largest news KZbin channel at the time), which then resulted in him streaming and Destiny (probably the largest political streamer at the time) making him grow in the streaming world. HIS ENTIRE LIFE HAS BEEN GIVEN TO HIM BY OTHER PEOPLE. HE'S NOT ONCE WORKED FOR ANYTHING IN HIS ENTIRE LIFE. THIS IS THE DUDE ADVOCATING FOR SOCIALISM, talking about jobs he doesn't even have the mental capacity TO FATHOM how soul draining they are. Absolute lunacy. That's how cults work. Charisma (aka good looks and voice) and complete confidence in whatever bullshit you say and you've got yourself followers. Same thing with how Andrew Tate got so many people on his scam despite being absolutely despicable person: Look, a cigar and a personal massage from a hot lady, i'm making toxic masculinity work! (Ends up being charged for illegal traficking of people and hides away behind "my religion doesn't let me" card). And another thing is how they "appear" on larger people's streams, like how Kai/Adin just out of nowhere gotten buddy-buddy with the largest streamer just to never really stream with him again unless for relevancy.

@Zed-ch9fg
@Zed-ch9fg 3 ай бұрын
As someone who has also worked in retail and various other jobs that require human interaction, it's not even comparable. Streaming is a joke compared to the kind of stress you build up from any of those jobs. Back when I was in high school, I've seen my walmart floor managers get berated and humiliated by complete pathetic excuses for human beings who were mad at their own mistakes, but had to lash out at someone else. The floor managers had to just take it, say nothing back and cry in the bathroom afterwards. They couldn't call in a sick day or not come in the next day if they wanted to keep their jobs. All this for making 12$/hr which was like 2$ more than what cashiers made. There are way more stressful jobs, but even something like a retail employee is way more socially draining than streaming.

There you go. I'd much rather have a big streamer recognize that most jobs are hell, and that he's super happy to be able to avoid them. No one likes jobs, they suck, but people are forced to get one to survive. That's it, that's the bleak reality behind it.

You know a real job definitely can suck the soul out of you. Not seeking pity, but I legit went into a deep depression 4 days after I started working. My boss gave me the slightest bit of disrespect and I just told him I quit and left. I was honestly the unreasonable one but Immediately after I quit I felt like I was alive again. I think there's pros and cons to being self employed and working for someone. Personally if I'm gonna be investing my most valuable resource (time) in something, I'd prefer it to be something that I can't lose at the drop of a hat. And when you're self employed, you aren't entirely controlled by someone else. (Not in the same way as traditional jobs at least)

"9 hours of streaming absolutely will (suck the life out of you)." Can't he basically choose his hours? I mean, I'm guessing he has agreements with twitch and/or sponsors to stream and advertise a certain amount (idk I'm new to this stuff). But, couldn't he end/renegotiate those contracts and just stream less? Maybe even just take a break to find a hobby/passion. If there's a mental health issue he can certainly afford extensive psychology and psychiatry services.

The thing about liars, scumbags, cheats, proud, arrogant and narcissistic people is that they can never be truly happy. Remember that. They might post stuff on their insta, they might flex their paychecks but true happiness only comes from helping other people DIRECTLY (not donating to “charities” to feel better about an image of THEMSELEVES in their own mind) and from freedom (which they don’t have because they are slaves to their own ego). They live terrible lives but I hope the best for them

“A real job” Last time I checked, a job was deal of work for money. You do the same thing long enough, sometimes even if you don’t particularly want to, you feel like “your soul’s getting sucked out.” It’s all real jobs, if you get paid for them.

x said that "there's only a few jobs" that's worse.. nah any regular 9-5 is worse than making millions from reacting and playing games. just like how you have to force yourself to entertain the audience people with regular jobs have to entertain the guests, customers, coworkers, bosses etc.
