Jennifer, the winner of season 2, won because every single time she was gonna be eliminated, the producers went ahead and gave her another chance. She was actually the person who had the most amount of second chances in season 2. I'm not even kidding, even when the judges said that her cooking was bad, the producers were always supporting her. At the season finale, they literally stated that the producers also take part in deciding who to be eliminated, thus making it feel even more scripted. They probably did that to avoid legal trouble.

Her vision isn’t completely black, from my understanding it’s like looking through fogged over glass, I have a similar problem (no where near as bad and corrective lenses can help) it’s still incredible but with an assistant it isn’t too dangerous. What is incredible is her hand eye coordination, she is extremely talented
