xQc was wrong about the wagyu is wagyu thing. Only in Japan is it legally required to be from those places to be called it. In the US you can call anything Wagyu or Kobe and not be punished legally.

I love how they're criticizing a legitimate teppanyaki restaurant while saying Habachi is the best. Habachi is known for being performance over taste, while real teppanyaki is intended to show you the full cooking process and quality of ingredients. The very first dish shows the quality of the cooking process as a whole as well. How many different cooking processes did they use just for a single shrimp? Steaming, deep frying, grilling, and making a sauce. Also, that stuff earlier wasn't the brains. It was the liver meat. Basically a bunch of people who know absolutely nothing act like they know everything..

Listening to this makes me realize how little people here in America know about food, especially seafood.. wagyu is not just wagyu! It just means it’s beef from Japan. The meat grading ranges from C1 - A5. This is top grade beef which is only available in Japan. There are many stores around the world calling their beef A5, which it’s definitely not.

cringiest reactions I've seen on youtube by far, 100% of ingredients used in these high end places are always seasonal, like fruits, veggies and seafood, foods that are in season taste at the very least 30% better than one's that are not, In Japan it's all about using the freshest and best ingredients during the season and creating a simple yet refined dish. That is why Japan has the most Michelin starred restaurants in Asia within a small density, these restaurants aren't even trying to make their food luxury, it's just the final product of their refined dishes that become highly regarded by chefs and critics around the world, as they can appreciate and admire the strenuous effort and steps taken to create such a small dish.
